It's only available in the United States, and it's a bad one; it's only 110V and has a US plug, though you can use any adapter you have, ranging from 12-volt to 24-volt. An old laptop power supply with a voltage of 19 volts will also work.
Before blaming the unit, make sure you check the output of your power supply.
No, this is a stand-alone item. Microphone is plugged in, and audio is output. You can definitely use it with a digital recorder, but if your recorder's inputs are RCA or 3, you'll need an adaptor because the Neewer output is an XLR connector. The size of the "headphone jack" is 5mm.

My son uses it to add audio with a Neewer mic and boom arm kit. The set met our expectations. The transformer that came with the Phantom Power supply should be avoided at all costs. It was on the verge of catching fire. The 3v transformer was plugged in, but nothing was connected to it. Fortunately, we were at home, and the transformer had overheated to the point where the plastic housing had melted. While removing it from the wall socket, it was hot enough to cause burns on the skin. Please be aware of this potential danger and turn off your computer when not in use. We've been pleased with the product's performance so far, and we'll contact Neewer separately to alert them to this hazard so that they can thoroughly investigate the transformer supplier.
After doing some research, I came across this power supply and decided to give it a shot, which I am glad I did. br>br>The Neewer 1 Channel 48V phantom power supply connects to your microphone quickly and easily. I put it to the test and found no flaws or issues. One tip, which you may already know, is that in order for your microphone to work, you must remember to go into your computer's settings and turn on the microphone rather than using the computer's microphone, but that's about it. br>br>In addition to this power supply, I also received the Excelvan BM- I have the Sabrent USB External Stereo Sound Adapter ($6) and love it (I have a review on it with more tips), and I have the 800 microphone and love it (I have a review on it with more tips in that review). 00), as well as the Neewer Suspension Boom arm. For it to work with my iMac, that was all I needed. I wasn't sure if I needed the soundcard, but it turned out that I did, so I'm glad I got it for $6. If you have a Mac, you may require it because your computer only has one audio input/output line, and this external soundcard will assist you in connecting your microphone. Once connected, go to Settings, Sound, and select USB Sound Card to set the microphone as the default rather than the built-in microphone. br>br>*Hint: if you're looking for a unique way to express yourself, try using the words "innovative Ignore other reviews that say you need to buy an XLR male to female microphone cord; this power supply comes with one. br>br>I was not compensated for this review, and I did not receive any free merchandise. I'm the only one who wrote this, and I hope it was useful!.
I've now used it to film some YouTube videos, and I'd say that it's a must-have for anyone using a neewer mic. br>As well, the shady-looking power supply hasn't been a problem. br>After reading the review where it melted, I used a surface thermometer to keep track of it. br>The temperature of the water should not exceed 87 degrees Fahrenheit. I'd unplug it if the temperature reaches 95 degrees. And, in case you're still concerned, the specifications are 18 Volts AC @ 500mA. br>br>In addition, the cable that came with it is of decent quality for the price, with metal ends. The table used to disconnect the cable from the input is made of metal as well, so it won't break.
Amp was packaged securely enough and then the box was placed inside of a shipping box, along with another product; amp was delivered on time as promised; very happy with packaging and shipping/deliverybr>Product:br>I bought a studio mic before buying this amp, so I had to wait to test both the mic and the amp. The process of connecting the amp to the microphone was straightforward; all I had to do was follow the instructions. The mic is powered by this phantom amp, so it will not work without it. The instructions were easy to understand, and the amplifier appears to be well built. On the front of the amp, across from the power switch, is an LED that illuminates when the amp is turned on. The amp has a nice appearance and seems to be well-made. The connections are all on the back of the amp, and the plugs/jacks are labeled (one side connects to the computer's sound card, while the other connects to the mic). So far, I'm pleased with my purchase; I'll provide an update after more use.
It can't possibly be 48 volts. My shotgun microphone is rated for and requires 48v phantom power, but it can also be powered by an AA battery. I can talk at normal volume with the microphone 2 feet away and still be heard clearly by the other party with the AA battery installed. However, when using this phantom power unit, I have to use 2 inches of space and scream into it to get anything to come out the other end. I turned off the unit as a test and screamed into it with no effect, so I know it's producing "some" power, but not the 48v. There are only one AA battery per pack. 5 volts is insufficient to produce the same amount of power as an AA battery. Yes, it turns on and the blue light shines, and the manual for my microphone states that it runs on 48 volts. The volume on my microphone is also at its highest setting. It was the same in every setting. I would have returned it if I hadn't started using it a few months after purchasing it.
Recommend it highly.
This is a popular product that is less expensive than most Mics. br>br>This microphone was bought for a teen who wanted to record and sing songs and covers. The sound quality is far superior to any built-in microphones. It comes in several pieces and must be put together. br>br> A booklet lays out the steps. It necessitates the use of the included power adapter for additional power. br>br>I would strongly advise anyone looking for a low-cost microphone to improve the sound quality of their recordings to consider this.
This is basically a must-have for anyone with a condenser microphone; before I bought this Phantom power adapter, my mic only worked when I plugged it into a desktop, but the sound was sloppy and not very good; with the Phantom power adapter, the sound is much better. It sounds fantastic, and it is very simple to set up and use. I strongly advise you to check it out.
