Product Description
Connect a lavalier or headset microphone to a mixer console or a microphone preamp that can handle 48V phantom power. Converts high-voltage 48V to lower-voltage voltages suitable for small electret microphones.
The standard XLR output connects easily to a mixer or standalone preamp, and the mini-XLR jack (3-pin male) accepts most headset and lav mic mini-XLR plugs.
A mini-XLR male to standard XLR male connector is included.
All Nady headsets with a mini-XLR connection are compatible.
Questions & Answers
Is this compatible with the Shure X2U?
Thank you for reaching out to us with your query. The XM-Nady is a Nady product that was developed by Nady Any standard female XLR connector can be converted to a mini XLR connector with the use of a 10 adapter. Keep in mind that this adapter also reduces phantom power from a preamplifier that is greater than 9 Volts to around 9 Volts. The phantom power switch on the Shure X2U provides a full 48V, and if a mini XLR microphone requiring more than 9V is connected via the XM-XLR, the phantom power switch provides a full 48V. It's possible that it won't work properly at all.

Five out of five stars
5/5
This is ideal for my needs. It would be ideal if it was smaller and lighter, but it is well constructed.
