It comes with a power cable that you can use to connect it to a wall outlet. It isn't connected to the internet in any way.
This is nothing more than a power supply for condenser microphones. You plug your mic into this thing, then into your mix board; if you want to connect the mic to your computer, you'll need a sound card, as well as an adapter to convert the XLR output of this thing to whatever your sound card accepts. This isn't a device for connecting a microphone to a computer.
No, you'll need to use the power adapter that comes with the package. However, the power supply can be used to charge cell phones and other devices. Add a DC 5V USB Jack output to power mobile phones, power banks, and other devices. And one long-lasting 5ft/1. A 5 meter USB cable is included to make your life easier.
To turn it on, press and hold the power button for at least 3 seconds. I was taken aback by that.

With a UHF connection, it's possible to use a powered microphone. It worked, but the hum of RF interference could be heard through both my amp and headphones. I bought a wired mic to try to get rid of the background hum, but I couldn't get it to work with my amp or headphones. However, it worked perfectly on the audio interface I was using to record to my computer. The difference was that the audio interface (Focusrite Scarlett Solo) came with its own 48V Phantom Power Supply, whereas my amplifier (Fender Acoustasonic 15) didn't. After doing some research online, I decided to order the Moukey M4811 to sit between the microphone and the amplifier. This solved the problem for a small fee, and now my vocals and acoustic guitar are both as clear as a bell, with only my voice and fingers to constrain them. br>br>Just in case this information is useful to people who are putting together their own mini-adventure, The following is a list of the components of my current studio setup: br>Fender Acoustasonic 15 amp (limited I/O, but plenty for my current needs)br>Samson C01 Large-Capacity Diaphragm Cardioid Condenser Microphone (wired)br>Moukey 48V Phantom Power Supply (needed for the mic because my amp doesn't have one)br>Focusrite Scarlett Solo 3rd Gen Audio Interface (includes USB-C)br> > USB- Tascam Closed (includes a cable and several recording packages)br> Return to the previous page- Penker 10 Foot,1/4" - Ear Headphones (comfortable and clear)br> > 1/4" Guitar Cordbr>AmazonBasics Tripod Boom Microphone Stand (which should really have a fourth leg on the base for stability)br>Kasonic Collapsible Music Stand w/LED light br>Total Cost (pre-tax) of Paper Holderbr> $398 (not including tax).
It took 4 seconds. The unit is fantastic, but it wouldn't turn on when it arrived, which worried me. The customer service is excellent; they responded promptly to my inquiry. Although my unit's instructions do not state it, customer service informed me that I should hold the power button down for three seconds. The unit will turn on after 4 seconds. At a great price, you can get a good, functional unit.
This phantom power box is simple to use and gets the job done. I can finally put my fancy radio to good use. With my computer, I use a microphone in the style of. Previously, when I plugged the microphone into my desktop or laptop, the sound was too faint to be heard without boosting the signal and adding excessive noise. misrepresentation My microphone is now functioning properly. br>br>An XLR cable was included to connect the microphone to the box. If you're going to connect this to your computer like I am, you'll need an XLR to 3. Adapter for TRS 5mm. br>br>The only criticism I have is that the construction appears to be a little shoddy, but it is very affordable and does the job.
I had previously tried another brand, which I had to return due to RF interference that was synchronized with the blinking LED. This is the one I purchased, and it's exactly what I was looking for. The LED does not blink, despite the fact that it is present. More importantly, no RF interference has been detected on my ICOM IC- Neither the spectrum scope of the 7300 nor the speaker's voice could be heard. The microphone I'm using is a TONOR TN120109BL. I'm not sure if I'll take advantage of the USB charging port. It wasn't for that reason that I placed the order. br>br>It appears to be well constructed, and the metal case is preferable to the plastic case. It could be one of the reasons why no interference has been observed. This one's lack of interference is most likely due to the certified power supply. As a result, I feel confident in recommending this book to other Hams. br>br>I read somewhere that turning on the computer requires holding the power switch for three seconds. This is also true when it comes to shutting it down. If I hadn't read that, I might have assumed it was faulty as well.
For some mobile gigs, I needed a portable phantom power unit, and this fit the bill perfectly! Using the USB cord and a power block/battery pack, I was able to power an Ear Trumpet Labs condenser mic for over an hour. There was no discernible difference in sound quality between this and onboard PP via a sound board, and it was also significantly less expensive than other portable PP devices, making it an excellent value. This is something I strongly suggest you do.
This is a low-cost alternative. I have a Neuman KMS 105 that I've only used a few times because my crate amp didn't have phantom power or I couldn't record into my phone with it. This little box solved all of my problems, and in the four days that I've had it, I've already used my mic for two recording tasks. It appears to be trustworthy, the sound quality is excellent, and it offers excellent value for money. To turn it on, simply press and hold the power button for three seconds or more: Because that wasn't mentioned in the instructions, I assumed the box was dead when I first received it. It's also worth noting that this isn't a wireless connection. It is not possible to charge it. It must be plugged into a power source at all times.
I was looking forward to a low-key evening. Phantom power is a low-cost option. The build quality was good, though the connectors were a little flimsy. br>Unfortunately, it did not turn on. LED did not turn on. I tried using the supplied USB 5v power brick and cable, as well as a different power brick and cable, and computer USB power, but it would not turn on.
All I can say is that it appears to do what it's supposed to do; I can definitely hear a difference when it's connected versus when it's not, so I'm satisfied. It does not come with a second cable with a 3. For those who are complaining, it does not come with a third cable with a 3. It doesn't say anywhere that it comes with it, and I believe it's intended as an extra purchase for people like me who bought a microphone kit that includes that cable. Giving lower reviews because it didn't come with a cable it never said it came with is incorrect; it came with everything it said it came with and does what it says it does, so I give 5 stars.
