I'm not sure why "Thickness" and "Sheerness" are rated as features of this amplifier, but they are. I purchased a Neewer NW- Studio Broadcasting for Professionals (800) I bought a recording condenser microphone a few years ago but never used it. It was bad enough on its own. I could barely hear myself speak and had to speak directly into the microphone. My voice is SIGNIFICANTLY amplified after connecting this phantom power amp to my microphone and computer. Some of my buddies have said on Zoom calls that it's almost too loud. This was an excellent purchase, in my opinion.

You'll need an amp if you've got an XLR! There is a hiss or hum, according to some people who reviewed this. This is a result of YOUR wall outlet power. This feedback is caused by poor grounding in your electrical systems! Are you ready to fix this in a simple and inexpensive way? Invest in a USB-based digital audio converter (DAC). Ground feedback is no longer an issue thanks to the DAC hardware.

This is a solid, dependable product that will supply 48v phantom power to your condenser mic without adding any unwanted buzz, hum, distortion, or color to your sound. This is not the same as a DI box or a splitter. I was using a large diagragm condenser mic with my interphase's phantom power, but the mic sounded terrible. I initially assumed it was due to the mic's poor quality, but after using this Aokeo 1- My mic came to life with the help of this 48V power supply, which came with an adapter and an XLR cable to boot; it now sounds amazing. IT WORKS AMAZINGLY! There's a funny story, or rather, a story about me acting like an idiot. I bought a USB microphone kit and didn't realize it came with a stand. Needless to say, I bought it and am very pleased with it. It's fantastic value for money. It matches my USB accessories and takes up about the same amount of room as a wireless charger. 800 condenser microphone, but after wasting time unplugging the mic and setting it up with the power supply, all I got was static, complete garbage! It was a complete waste of time, and I will be back as soon as possible.
