It can only be used for F type antenna sockets without an adapter. Thank you for your question; we'll change it to without adapter or with adapter because it's a little confusing.
There was nothing wrong with you. I believe the screw is loose, which is why it won't stay upright. The junction part has a screw that can be tightened slightly to keep it from flopping over.
No, you won't be able to listen to regular AM/FM radio on this device. The normal am/fm radio function has been disabled on the majority of smartphones. Although most phones are capable of receiving at least FM, digital/streaming services provide revenue for manufacturers and carriers.
If your Sony comes with a standard screwdriver, remove it. This antenna will screw right on to the coax outlet for FM in the back of the unit. If this is not the case, check the adapters that came with the antenna to see if they fit your antenna outlet.

After losing the original 'wire' antenna for quite some time, static reception was all that was left. I did some research and discovered that this would work with a Tivoli Model One - screwed into the back of the cabinet Presto! I now have the best reception on the unit that I've ever had. TIP - Make sure the radio's "ext antenna" switch is turned on on the back.
Only available via the internet. And the service is outstanding! So, what do you do with those cable lines that aren't in use anymore? Is there any way it can still serve a purpose? These are excellent questions, so I went outside and disconnected the cable line, inserted a paper clip into the coaxial block hole, and rescanned my television, which revealed 33 channels. Wow! This is turning out to be a lot of fun! As a result, I arranged for $160 to be wired to me. Outside the house, I have a 00 antenna connected to a cable block. The antenna was placed on the ground, and 34 channels were picked up. Is this for real? I didn't want to put this obnoxious antenna on the roof because I didn't want to put it on the outside of the house. I threw it in the garage and forgot about it. But then I had an idea, so I paid $160 for the Ancable FM Antenna, which I would attach to the cable block. Down with the 00 antenna. My television was scanned again, and I found 39 channels. Now things are really heating up! As a result, I went to Walmart and bought a $12 Onn Antenna Amplifier. 00, nstalled it between the line coming in from outside the house and the splitter, and it now feeds the amplified signal throughout the entire house. My TV was rescanned, and I now have 60 channels instead of 39. This adds a new dimension to the situation! As a result, we now have access to FREE over-the-air television. the- FREE Pluto TV, FREE XUMO, FREE Airy TV, and Netflix $12 are all available on air TV, Philo $20, and Amazon $12. So far, we've spent $44 in total. For TV services, you'll pay $99, while for Internet access, you'll pay $4 Gigabit Fiber costs $99 per month. The total comes to $94. Monthly rent is $98. So here's the takeaway from the story. br>This is the best antenna you can buy for the money!.
I sought advice from the antenna's manufacturer, who assured me that all of the components could be tightened. I was skeptical because I had already tried it, but they were correct. It was only a matter of sticking it out. I believe the part had shifted in transit. So now everything is in working order, and the reception on my radio has greatly improved. The business is extremely successful. Excellent customer service and responsiveness - Given the low cost of the item, this is quite impressive. That meant a lot to me.
It works perfectly with the adapter that comes with it. The antenna wants to swivel sideways with the adapter, as other reviewers have noted, but my radio is next to a wall, so it stays put just fine; it probably wouldn't do this without or with the other adapters. I couldn't even get one FM station clearly without the antenna because we live in a rural area. Now I'm bringing in a couple of crystal clear! It also has the feel and appearance of a high-end antenna. The weight is just right. I'm completely satisfied!.
You can disregard the company's and others' suggestions for tightening screws and continue to tighten the F-nut. connective tissue This may work on rare occasions, but it is primarily a design flaw in what should be a straightforward product. br>br>The F- The antenna can rotate even when the connector is fully tightened, and it has a tendency to flop over. I fully screwed in the antenna as tight as it would go on my clock radio. It didn't go over as quickly as the others, but it still did. It's impossible to keep it any other way than straight up, and if it's bumped, it'll flop over anyway. br>br>Imagine in the video I'm attaching that it's now FIXED because that part isn't moving. What are your first impressions? Exactly. It simply falls over. Needs to be redone in terms of design.
I'm not sure why others are having problems, as I recently relocated from California to Maui. And my 30-year-old Bose wave radio wasn't picking up good signals on the island; public radio stations were scratchy, and the rest had a lot of background hiss. On January 4th, 2020, the antenna arrived. The most serious concern was that, due to the radio's age, the coaxial female end of the antenna would not fit. There's no issue with that. It was a perfect match. The stations are comming in with 100% more clarity and I am picking up the "stereo" signal on the radio where I wasn getting it before or it was intermittent before or Is it just me, or is the antenna sagging? I don't get it because it feels very secure in its attachment and the antenna stays put no matter what angle I put it at. In my opinion, it deserves five stars!.
I used this antenna to improve reception of a weak FM music station on a Bose Wave clock radio. The reception has been crystal clear and strong since it was installed. For a very low cost, this is a significant improvement.
This was purchased for use with my Yamaha R-series motorcycle. I installed a 700 receiver in my new office, which is unfortunately located in the middle of a steel building, and while it worked fine without an antenna at home, there was virtually no FM signal at the office. Due to the inability to drill holes in the walls, this antenna was a simple solution. br>br>Installation was simple, just thread a simple adapter on the antenna and plug into the back of the amplifier, and it looked nice enough, but reception isn't nearly as good as I had hoped. The problem is that I'm not sure if it's the antenna or the building; I can get stations now, but the signal meter on any station doesn't go above 60, so it's better than having no antenna. There is still some static on a few of my favorite stations. I'm not sure if the antenna is simply bad, or if no antenna could possibly work in this situation.
