It took me just under half of the zip ties I used to fix the bag because my hands broke as I attempted to tighten them. Neither of these items have been running over sharp metal. They aren't really up to par. In the first place, they aren't white like the picture shows. This is more of a yellowish plastic-like tint, like you see on computers from the 1980s. This isn't the color you're looking for if you're trying to blend them in with a white background. As long as you are not bothered by the "off" color, then it won't be a In addition to bundling and running wires along the ceiling, I intended using these under the table for storage. My zip tie collection consists of literally hundreds of different types, so I plan to use them all There are plastic ones that are thin and thin ones that are giant 17" (and thick) ones that are metal. In a previous comment it mentioned that these were "brittle" I didn't need them to be super strong for my intended application, however. As far as I'm concerned, they were going to be used just for separating cables (see attached photo) so I should just have bought a wider-sized device. This is better than that Zip ties are used for normal purposes. Though I had expected them to be brittle, they are not. These zip ties are much stronger than many of my other zip ties. I don't know if some people simply received bad batches or if these have been upgraded after people complained about them being brittle. For their small size, they're extremely strong. May even buy another pack just for use around the house.

In addition to these, I've ordered some 8" 40lb. There is a lot of strength in these ties. In addition to being more expensive, they weigh a lot less compared to I would recommend these if you are looking for something strong and willing to pay the price difference. It took me a while to realize how wide and thick these are since I was more concerned with their length at the time. Since I can use them to hold heavier objects, I am happy to have them. Since none of my applications required making sharp bends, I cannot comment on how brittle they are. I have yet to encounter any broken ones when I wrapped my 2" tubing around them. Due to the fact that I won't be leaving them outside for more than a few months, I can't speak to the UV resistance of these. Updates will be made in case of any break.

My aim was to temporarily fix loose wood planks in fencing that had come loose from the posts with these ties. It was therefore important to be able to withstand the elements outdoors. In order to attach ties to each other end to end on a plank, I needed to measure and measure 13 3/4" of length and 3/16" of width for each tie. After trying end to end without success, I had to look up the procedure online. I learned how to do that very easily once I learned it. It was easy to get a tight fit with these ties, since they did not stretch or break.
