This has been a great device to organize electric cords around the house, but my main motivation for purchasing these was to keep my Christmas tree safe. I put the bottom branches to use as a bed for my cats, and they have done this for years. It is true that the branches bent, but they could be bent back no matter what. All the good reviews would lead me to assume these ties are of good quality, but that wasn't the case. There is no other zip tie I have ever bought that is worse. It almost always snaps when I use them. I've tried several times, but Neither of them take a great deal of force to break. There are times when they snap when I am just starting to tighten Even though I have tried to be careful, the whole point of a zip tie is to keep something in place by securing it tightly. This is the last time I will buy these. There is nothing to be gained by buying them.

Zip ties are useful when you're not sure when you might need them. The new entertainment center didn't have any cables to connect my television to. I went to look for some but didn't have any to use! I am having a problem again with UPS deliveries. This is a good product that is described well.
