Even without knowing what you are doing with the oxygen bottle, I would say that, more than likely, it would be able to hold its own. As there is a lot of velcro on each of them, and several are provided in the pack, you should be able to secure quite a bit of weight with them.

Hook & loop makes the cinch straps. As shown in the example below, the triangular tongue piece is a part of the hook. With a quick and easy pass through the buckle, the hook is passed through the buckle ring and then on to the loops.

Below are a few things to keep in mind (from our standpoint) 1. Straps this thin are not meant to be used for heavy-duty work. I wanted to use it as a support while carrying items on the UTV trailer (at the ranch)
3. These are very versatile, but we use them now to wrap electric cables, along with vacuum lines and hoses
4. It's ideal for holding items in place while they are stored (garage, etc), to prevent them from falling over
They do the job, although I figured they might be stronger based on the description. In addition to that, we are going to use them as UTV windshield straps, it seems to be a good product for this purpose.
I purchased these for transportation of my bike to prevent the front tire from moving. The straps I ordered were described as wide and I chose them because of their size. There is no way to hold a bike steady with these straps. What's the reason? There is no way to hold things with them since they are too clumsy. I've included my photos to show how the plastic clip you tread the strap through actually moves due to stretchiness, and you are left strapping LONGER than you want. For this reason, your bicycle tire will move and not stay straight as you want! Unless you have a small family, I'm not sure what you would do with these straps because they are TOO STRETCHY for anything but a simple tie. They will not hold the tire straight in a bicycle as they aren't designed for that. As for these straps, I believe that they would only be suitable for something you want to have flexibility in like maybe a TV or audio cable.
Cinch straps for general use have never been used I find them to do what they are supposed to and to be of good construction. In this case, Velcro (hook and loop) holds the item in place. In my opinion, the elastic has too much give to be recommended for cinching purposes thus, I think it is a product for light duty use only. Five pounds of weight was placed on one end of the strap, and it was nearly fully extended. A nice strap made of good material with good quality. Basically, I bought them so that the shoulder belts and seat belts on the back seat of my Wrangler would be held against the upright roll bar on the back.
