How Our Score Is Calculated

Product Description

Dimensions It's a lot easier to work with side-cut corrugated wire loom tubing. For electrical wires and cables, this is an excellent plastic cover.
Our wire protector tubing is thermostable and flame retardant, thanks to a new high-tech process that increases density.
Protect Your Wires: Abrasion, corrosion, gasoline, oil, and other harmful chemicals are all resistant to your wires. This split loom tubing is ideal for covering wires both indoors and outdoors.
High Operating Temperature Range: Great wire tubing for automotive, marine, industrial, office, and home, with a temperature range of -40 to 257 degrees Fahrenheit (-40 to 125 degrees Celsius).
A chewing-like pet, oil, or heat will be protected by high-quality material and high-operating-range flex tubing.

Questions & Answers

Is this suitable for use outside? Rabbits are chewing on outdoor power extension cables, which is a problem for me. ?

As far as I'm aware, there is no rating. Because the sleeve is made of relatively hard plastic, chewing may be discouraged. As a deterrent, I'd saturate a paper towel in hot sauce and wipe the cable.

So, how do you take this and make it bigger and better?

It does not expand, but it is adaptable.

Is there a split line running the length of the tube?

Yes. The length is split in half. Your wires will not protrude because it overlaps slightly.

Cats are jerks, so that's why
5/5

Wife has a cat who enjoys chewing thin power wires (internet modems, routers, alarm clocks, and other items with an AC adapter). It also despises Jesus for chewing up our LED Christmas lights from last year's tree. br>br>As a result, I wrapped the 1/4" loom around all vulnerable wires and it worked perfectly. The cat is also relieved that it has not suddenly become an outside cat.

Finally, a loom of good quality
5/5

Due to the poor quality of the materials used in several of the looms I purchased on Amazon, I had to return them. They couldn't keep their shape and had thin walls that quickly crushed them. br>The walls of this 1/4" loom are fairly thick, and it does not collapse when tied with zip ties. It's the best there is!.

It's a good way to keep your cords safe from cats
5/5

This stuff is tough, rigid, but still pliable, and it's very simple to install on all of your wires once you've got a system down. To finish the job, I'm going to buy a second roll. For years, I've had to replace a lot of cords because my cats got a hold of them, and now they won't even go near the wires I've put this stuff on!.

MY RABBIT DID NOT STOP EATING UNTIL HE WAS FINISHED
3/5

I purchased the 50-foot option three times, starting about six months ago, to bunny-proof the room where my rabbit roams freely when I am present (which is usually all day). My rabbit seemed to ignore it for the first few months, but then he became interested and chewed a hole right through it, as you can see in the first photo, but that cord was fortunate because some other cords were not, as you can see in the second photo. I'm not sure what to do because the description claims that it will protect your wires from chewing by animals. Unfortunately for my wallet, this was not the case. One set of wires was for the Wii, and I'm not sure if I can still get them replaced SMDH I tried to contact the seller but couldn't find a way to do so, so I'm forced to leave a negative review. I'm at a loss as to how to bunny-proof my wires now.

Yes, bunny protection
3/5

So I bought this to bunny proof wires, primarily cell phone chargers, because our princess bunny has gone through 6 charger wires in as many days. I seem to have a love/hate relationship with this purchase, so let's start with the love. I like the price and the amount I paid for the 100-foot one, and I like the fact that the bunny hasn't made it through any of them yet, despite the fact that it's been over a month. Let us now turn our attention to the part where we despise each other. Hate that once it's on, my wire isn't very flexible. I have a 10 ft phone charger wire, and once it's covered with this, I have 10 ft of solid wire, which seems to be fine for our smaller charger wires, the 3 to 5 ft ones. I despise how difficult it is to remove and how rigid the size is; anything thicker than a small charger wire won't fit, so our braided chargers won't work, so I'll have to order the next size up, which means I didn't really need 100 feet; I bought 100 feet to cover all of our wires, chargers, Google Home, computer, and nightstand lights, and it only fits the phone chargers. I'm going to try a different wire protector.

O2 Tubing is well-protected with this cover
5/5

This was purchased to conceal the 50-foot length of oxygen tubing that follows me around the house. My young adult kitty was obsessed with chewing on the plastic, resulting in a lot of tears and preventing the oxygen from reaching me. Second, it prevents the tubing from forming annoying bird nests and snarls, which are all too common. I've stepped on it a few times by accident, and it doesn't seem to hurt it; it just makes a crackling sound that reminds me of stepping on snails in the garden! Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww Because the O2 line is so small, I almost ordered the smallest diameter, but I think the one half inch was easier to work with.

Rabbit Proof isn't the word
3/5

This product was purchased for a rabbit-related business. Our rabbit proofed the room we keep him in, but it only took him 30 seconds to chew right through it. We were almost able to stop the rabbit from chewing on the cord because it made a loud crunching noise, so we gave it two stars instead of one. br>br>Installation goes well for the most part--the wire cover does curl over and become a pain at times--but there are few issues once it's up and running.

Wire wrap that is durable, well-made, and the right size
5/5

When you need to run a few wires through your vehicle, this is the perfect size. The 1/4" size is ideal, and the wire is protected by a layer of plastic. Twist the wire as you cover it so that the split in the covering screws around your wires and makes it more difficult for them to pop out.
