Questions & Answers

Is anyone else having problems with the length of the message?

made a test of measuring the length of the sleeve off the reel before installing over a bundle of wire? If the sleeve is compressed to fit a bundle of wire, it will be shorter than when it is flat and unfilled. It would be prudent for them to explain that a flat 1/2" sleeve will not fit a loop of 1/2" diameter wire since the sleeve will shorten by increasing margins depending on the diameter of the bundle it is fitting This is not to imply that the company is shortening sleeves, but rather to offer a possible explanation for why it may appear this way.

When I need to buy a diameter, how do I know the right size?

It is important that you measure the cable diameters. if the total diameter of the cables is 3/8" in diameter, you should purchase sleeve that is 3/8 inch in diameter. Buying 1/2'' cables is the best option if the entire diameter of the cables is 1/2'. Is it possible for you to separate the connector plug and the cable? As a result, even though our PET sleeve can expand up to 150% in diameter, you have to make sure that if the PET sleeve can successfully pass through the big connector plug, it is effective.

For a 2/0 cable, what size should I use?

There is no difference in copper wire diameter between 2/0 gauge and 0-0 gauge. The number 365. 1/8'' = 3. A 375-inch height. A PET braided wire sleeve measuring 3/8'' in diameter is sufficient to fit wire gauge 2/0. There is a rubber covering the copper wire. I am not sure how thick this covering Would you please measure the whole diameter of the 2/0 gauge wire? For example, if the entire diameter of the wire is 1/2'', then you should buy 1/2'' PET braided wire sleeves. In the case of 2/0 gauge wire, the whole diameter is 3/4", so you should buy 3/4". Do you think you'll be able to separate the wires and connector plugs from this device? In that case, although the PET sleeve can expand up to 50% in diameter, you have to make sure if the sleeve can go through the big connector plug in a successful manner

Below are pictures of two styles of sleeves that differ in color. Can you tell if it's more black or is it 50/50 black and ?

There is more black in the blackblue cable, and there is about 1/3 blue.

It is misleading to look at sizes
3/5

I would like to order one sleeve. Don't be afraid to go 6 times larger than you thought you needed! My order was for 1/2" DIMENSION (from the product description) sleeves. That means the sleeve is 1/2" wide at its widest point in its flat position The condition for rolling a die. There's no way to define diameter, except to say that it's the width of a circle, not the pant sleeve, which is flat. The practical result is that the sleeve has an internal diameter of about 0 mm when it is unflattened into its natural circular shape (not including any temporary expansion generated by compressing the sleeve lengthwise). A 31" screen. For example, if you have a cable with connectors attached, and the outer diameter of the connectors is less than 0. 01 mm, then this is an indication that the cable is over-dimensioned. As your hose is 5", you might think that the 1/2" diameter sleeve will be sufficient. It's not close at all. Come to me and I'll tell you!

An upshot in practice To order sleeves that are 1" in diameter, you must measure the diameter of the cable bundle you have (or the connectors, if necessary). There are 57x as many people as If the sleeve diameter is equal to zero, the size of the flat sleeve There are 63 times as many people on that size. The number 0. The length of a 5 inch sleeve is The diameter of the circle is 31"*0. A 75" sleeve will cost 0 dollars. I think a 47" circumference times a 1" sleeve is equal to The diameter of the circle is 63"*1. One 25-inch sleeve is equal to one. The diameter of the circle is 79 inches*1. The length of a 5 inch sleeve is The diameter of the circle is 95".

There are five cats in our house who like to chew on hoses
5/5

I found this to be very helpful. I would guess that is not what it was designed for, but when used properly it can be very useful. I have a 50-foot hose on an oxygen concentrator that my mother uses. There are five cats in our house who like to chew on hoses. It used to be that we would go through about a hose a week, which was I would like to know how much a hose costs. will not allow me to It's time for the cats to go home! In spite of trying numerous products to cover the hose, none of them fit well, did not stay in place, or kept the little devils It took me some time to figure out how to run the hose through the sleeve, but I eventually did. Although they have tried repeatedly, the cats' sharp dagger teeth are unable to cut through it. The news has made me very happy. It is sturdy and can be cut with a pair of.

My cat keeps chewing on my cords, and this product keeps her from doing so! I found exactly what I was looking for in this product
5/5

During the winter, my outside cat is stuck inside the house and gets very bored, leading him to start chewing all of my computers It has caused him to ruin five of my them, but now that I have this, there haven't been any The trouble is that, no matter how hard you try, you can't get them to chew through.

This is a great cable management system for audio cables
5/5

To help tame cables on a pedalboard snake, we used this. "I was able to get three thick 1/4 cables and two thinner power / amp switches through it without any difficulty. Unlike what I expected, the braid expanded more than I was expecting. There may have been a way to fit all 5 cables through the 1/2" version, but that would have been very A fish tank for electricians would be helpful You can simplify your life with this tape.

I'll give you a good and bad review and The orders were for 25 foot rolls each of 3/4" diameter blue/black and red/black colors
4/5

There is only one good thing to say I received the product in good condition. The software works This is a cheaper alternative to This product is really good. I can't understand some of the negative The ignorance you have about the product can't really be attributed to the product. To get the job done, you need to be smarter than a braided plastic tube. In case you have never used techflex or a clone such as this, the following should be expected
Upon first glance, you may think there is no way the tubing could be so I don't think it is. Hold it with both hands at a distance of about 2 inches apart. Letting go will cause your hands to come Did you notice the stuff expands as it ages? The way it works is like that. Seeing how you apply it to what you put it over is also how you use it. You might think of Chinese finger traps. In addition to knowing that, you'll also need a good way to clamp the ends when you are done. It is amazing what shrink tubing can do. When you buy this, you'll get a free gift. In the end, cutting the stuff was the last step. You can expect the ends to fray if you don't use a hot knife. X-ray the plastic where you want to cut it with the hot knife For a brief period, act as if the blade was in a flame. In the latter case, face the fray when cutting a cold cut, and once you are ready to seal the ends using shrink tube or whatever you are using, cut around it There is a negative aspect to this In most cases, leave the coil in the bag (for the 25' section), unless you need to use it for another reason. There is NO fixing this and it WILL unfold on you as a clock spring, and it will take hours to coil it back together again.

Coiling cables is even easier with this tool! Having a career in IT, I try to keep my cables well organized, coiled, and utilize any means possible to use them for as long as possible

The CS-400 does all If you need sleeving for your ethernet cable or the USBc power cable that comes with your new Macbook Pro, this is the product you need. Attached is a picture of my sleeved USBc cable that I use for my Macbook. It was 1/4in that I used for this.

The Festool Dust Extractor Sleeve can be made from this material
5/5

In the first place, there is Snag-proof sleeve has a diameter of 25" and is perfect for wrapping and creating a snag A free Festool hose for the CT Mini and the CT Midi dust extractors (27 - 27 The diameter is 32mm). Instead of spending $160 on braided antistatic hoses, you can get the new track saw cut to a grinding halt without any problems by simply using the old ones. In order to keep the ends in place, I wrapped rubber bands around the ends. Besides electrical tape and zip ties, I have seen other kinds as well. You don't need to spend so much money on the tools - I love Festool. Although there are many accessories that are nice, they are not the best place to invest when you have.

As if a mouse was working his way through a snake, we feed wires through
4/5

Installed over the bundles of wires on my 3D printer, it looks good. It was a bit tricky to feed the wires through, but I managed to in the end, just like working a snake through a mouse. It's easy to fray the ends, but melting them will fix that problem. I feed the wires through, I forced the braided sleeve over a pair of needles and twisted the pair together Pliers with a long nose. When the end was flared out on the pliers, I used a small butane torch to melt the end of the braid. This created a sort of funnel that A) made it easier to feed wires through The braid was held in place by a couple of small tie wraps after the wires were positioned in the braid. This is a very neat and professional looking document.
