It isn't particularly bright, but it's adequate for reading and typing at a distance. The ability to select from daylight, warm white, or a combination of the three is a nice feature. I was worried that it would reflect off the screen, but the swivel adjusts to prevent this. It sits a little high off the top of the monitor, but I assume that's to avoid any interference with the monitor's top bezel monitor selfie/Zoom cam. The retaining spring could be a little more powerful, but everything else works fine.
At first glance, it appears to be a brilliant concept: to save space on one's desk by tucking the lamp almost invisibly atop the monitor Will it, however, be successful? Will it be effective if it illuminates enough of the desk? (It does. ) Will there be a glare on the screen as a result of this? (This is not the case. ) Will it be able to take the place of existing lights? (It will. ) It's bright enough, and you can adjust the downward angle to your liking. It's also great that it's USB powered, which is logical.
Maybe I didn't read the description correctly, but laptops will not work. It worked fine on my home monitor, but I'm going on a year-long trip and this won't be sufficient. Hopefully, I'll be able to find one that isn't as heavy and can be used with laptops.
, whether it's for the better or for the worse. In comparison to the much more expensive BenQ light, this light had a sleek profile and was structurally exactly what I was looking for. However - I'll admit that I don't have a lot to compare it to - Even at lower brightness levels, the light can get quite warm, and because I'm a naturally warm person, I don't use it very often.
The lighting is wonderful. I like that the light is bright enough to serve as a nice desk light at night on its own. Also, for smaller setups, the light strip makes better use of space, which I appreciate. It's great to be able to adjust the light's warmth or hues to match the ambient lighting.
It meets my requirements perfectly. Because my monitor is curved, I prefer to mount it on the shelf directly above it. There are a lot of options, and it can get quite bright.
This light appeals to me, but my screen has recently become unresponsive. This isn't the first time the monitor's light has gone out while I was working. I was working when it suddenly fell, and I now need to purchase a new monitor. If you buy it, make sure to use tape or something similar to keep the light from slipping off.
The various brightness levels are extremely useful. For smaller desks, this is a great space saver. I would strongly suggest it.
