I'm overjoyed that I found this LED Book Light. I actually do a lot more things in the dark than I realized, like reading by the light of my laptop or sewing in the dark, which is a difficult feat. Not only do these work well to solve my problem of not being able to use a lamp because it disturbs my husband while he sleeps, but they are also very light on your neck, flexible, and come with three different light options. In the image above, the first light, which is low light, is on the left, and the third, or highest light, is on the right. It's then off to the races.

For a few months, my son used it every night to read in bed. He came down crying the other day and told me it had shocked him, and that's how he gave it to me. Because the covering of the arms has pulled away from the body, the wires can be seen on both sides of the light's body. A safe light should not be able to do this. I'm past the return period now, but I strongly advise you not to buy this for a child or anyone who might fall asleep with it around their neck or close to their body.

Two of these lights were ordered, and they arrived today. I believe I'll place another order for two tomorrow. br>br> This light is incredibly adaptable; it wraps around your neck and the two arms can be adjusted to fit your needs. The arms don't stay in place as well as I'd like, but they're certainly adequate. br>br> I've already used this light to read and navigate a dark hallway. There are three brightness levels to choose from. Each end of the arm has two LEDs in its lamp housing. If you press the switch once, one LED will light up; if you press it twice, another, brighter LED will light up; if you press it a third time, both LEDs will light up. Based on my limited experience, I believe that one LED will suffice for the vast majority of applications. Two or three LEDs can be used for close work. Each of the two lights has its own switch. br>br> There's a battery pack in the middle of the arm, but it's not too big to be bothersome when sitting or lying down. The battery can be charged again and again. I'm not sure how long it takes for a charge to be fully charged. br>br> The construction appears to be solid and made of high-quality materials. br>br> To be honest, I wasn't expecting such a high-quality product; I'm going to buy one for the car, one for my walker, and two for the house. I wanted something that I wouldn't have to adjust depending on how I was sitting, and that would move with me. Overall, it's a great system! It comes with a USB charging cable but no adapter (which is fine because I have plugs in my outlets that I can use to charge it). br> It's a bright white light with a button on both sides to control the individual light. Both the left and right sides are represented. One of the two light bulbs turns on with a single click. After two clicks, the other light bulb turns on and the first one turns off. (Honestly, I'm not sure what the point of that is, because two clicks only change the angle of one light bulb), but three clicks turns on both small bulbs inside the lamp. It turns off after the fourth click. br>I like that I can turn on only the left side, only the right side, or both sides. It's very bright, and it doesn't bother my eyes at all!.

I would have returned this item if I had given them enough time to be tested during the return period. . . . br>It's a big one. It's clumsy, but that's not the issue. br>I purchased this item so that I could crochet in the light that I needed while my husband could watch TV in dim light. br>Unfortunately, the lights on this thing don't do a good enough job of illuminating the yarn. First, despite my ability to bend the lights' arms, their angle of illumination is poor. Second, the three brightness settings on the project itself don't seem to make much of a difference. I can tell the lights are clicking and brightening, but when I shine them on my project, I can't tell the difference, especially with darker yarn. Third, the lights appear to be dimming over time; I understand that the lights may fade as the battery life diminishes, but the drain seems excessive given that I have only had the product for a few months. br>To be honest, I think this thing will end up in the trash.

I just placed another order for three more lights, bringing the total number of lights to six. My husband works as a mailman, and he uses it to read the addresses on the mail that needs to be delivered when it gets dark. My friend and I began knitting together, and we are now using them to improve our vision. In addition, I use it to read. I'm going to buy three more for my kids as Christmas presents. If the power goes out, these will come in handy.

I bought this for my daughter, who reads every night, because it was perfect: she could adjust the light exactly how she needed it, and the battery lasted a long time. However, it is falling apart! The rubber tube is coming out of the center plastic part, exposing wires. I've removed the screws and pushed the rubber all the way back in before tightening the screws again, but the rubber is still coming out from my daughter adjusting the light to where she needs it to be. This has dissatisfied me greatly! I'm going to have to look for a different brand to purchase.

I thought it was brilliant when I saw a friend use one of these. I looked and looked and looked and looked and looked and looked and looked and looked and looked and looked and looked for I finally decided to buy these and I'm very happy with my decision. I'm a member of our church's quilting group, and the lighting isn't ideal. Bingo. Now the issue has been resolved! At home, I've read and sewn with them. There is a lot of light in this room. They haven't even needed to be charged yet. The buttons for turning them on and off are placed in such a way that they are easy to locate. I would recommend these over the ones that you simply touch to turn on because a friend of mine has one of those and her cat is constantly turning it on! Hers didn't even come with a charger. This one, in my opinion, is the best. Plus, the price is unbeatable!.
