In one out of two cases, the work is done

There is no clear explanation for I installed my first ribbon, it worked well for about half a day, then stopped working. The second ribbon was the cause so I exchanged it and it works fine for a week now.

Amano TCX is not compatible with Replacing ribbons is not an easy task

A photograph of the cartridge on Amazon with the word "AMANO" written on it. It was not possible to use the replacement cartridges in our time clock as they did not display the work "AMANO".
