I used to work part-time from home, but now I work full-time from home. I was short on time and needed to quickly improve the ergonomics of my computer workstation. These mouse pads come in a pack of two, making them a great way to try out the product for a low price. The mouse pad's backing is made of a material that prevents the mouse pad from sliding around, which is great. The only problem is that the plastic film led me to believe it was a sticky back/adhesive. It was discovered by my adolescent that the purpose was to provide a non-alcoholic beverage. LOL, slick surface. Because this product comes with no written instructions, I'm sharing my experience so that you can appreciate this feature sooner. It was a fantastic purchase, and I've been using it every day since I got it, with no signs of wear.
These mousepads were recently purchased to aid my wrist in doing online schoolwork. My mouse glides over the surface with ease, and the two bumpy pillow-like surfaces are also pleasant to look at. When resting your wrist on it, the blobs at the mousepad's end are very soothing. It's ideal for small mouse movements like doing online homework or surfing the internet. It's not practical for online gaming because it's so small, so I bought it to help me relax while doing homework. Overall, I would recommend these mousepads to anyone doing online homework or working at a desk job.
I thought I had arthritis in my right wrist for years until I wrapped it in foam and discovered that the pain was caused by prolonged pressure against a cold, hard desk. Other wrist pads were inconvenient. br>br> This one is a little more difficult to slide. It also serves as a great mouse surface. It will eventually become filthy. br>br> The mouse will no longer glide smoothly across the pad, and the pad will begin to slide across the desk. a little worn-out I'm glad they sent two so I don't have to wait while a pad dries. I'm glad they sent two so I don't have to wait while a pad dries. br>br>I may have had my wrist on each of them for 1500 hours, and the only difference I notice is a saddle in the memory foam from the weight on my wrist, which is good. It assists me in consistently placing my wrist in the same position.
I bought these a few months ago to replace an older pad that had begun to break down after years of use. These had been working perfectly until a few weeks ago, when one of the wrist rests developed a problem. The upper left corner of the wrist rest, in particular, appears to have "deflated" by about 2". I don't know what else to call it. I realize the rest of the silicone doesn't contain any air, so I'm guessing an air bubble was molded into it by accident during the manufacturing process. I've since moved that pad to my laptop, which I don't use very often anyway, so it won't bother me here on my desktop. Regardless of that flaw, the mouse pads are still decent. Updated on July 24, 21. I had to lower the rating because the second pad has now begun to not only squash down from use, but has also begun to come apart at the seam at the bottom of the wrist rest, exposing the sticky gel goo that they have inside. Turns out that their gel is not solid at all, which is why the wrist rests on both simply collaopse after they've been used for a while. I definitely do not recommend these.
It didn't take long for this shoddy product to fall apart. br>I've had these mouse pads for exactly two months. br>After one month, they have become distorted, and the support has deteriorated. br>Now, two months later, one of the gels is leaking onto my desk, while the other is leaking onto the coffee table. br>It's a waste of money. br>Yet another piece of low-cost Chinese nonsense.
Something about the material of these mousepads clashes with my Phillips SPK7104 laser mouse, which I also recently purchased. I had been successfully using an old Belkin mousepad with this mouse, but as soon as I switched to the Soqool, the cursor began to jitter with no mouse movement, and the cursor would not move even when I moved the mouse. It's a useless configuration. I've been getting by with a flat piece of paper under the mouse (over the mousepad) and the mousepad wrist rest. This has worked out well. Both mousepads in the 2-pack suffer from the same problem.
I was looking forward to pairing this with my ergonomic mouse, but the mouse fell short of my expectations. I like how the gel keeps your wrist in the proper position for it to rest. br>br>I later discovered that when I switched back to my old mouse, the cursor would pause whenever I scrolled right-hand. Between my dual monitor setup, I have some free space on the left. The reason for this pause was later discovered to be a divot on the mouse pad itself. br>br>Until I ran my hand across the pad's center, I had no idea there was a divot there. When you examine the pad closely, you'll notice that there are no signs of deformities on either the top or bottom (it's sandwiched in between). I'm too late to return because the return window has already passed me by. I also have a second one in the set that I have yet to inspect for any of the same problems. br>br>Update- The second pad has indentations in the center as well, making it non-slip. Scrolling is very smooth. This is a terrible product!.
without slipping all over the place This was purchased during the COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored COVID-sponsored 19 Safer At Home I'm keeping one by the dining room for my work laptop and one at my son's new "workstation" for all of his online schoolwork. We haven't bought a mouse pad in a long time; our old one was a freebie at a fair (I believe) and doesn't have the sticky bottom to keep it from sliding. It also lacks the wrist rest, which is more of a problem for me than for my son. This one suits our needs and is reasonably priced. My son is unconcerned about the wrist rest, but he appreciates how easy it is to use the mouse and how the pad does not slide around as he moves it. I'm just glad he's not demanding a specific cartoon character or that it be made of gel, etc. (maybe that'll happen in a few years?). ) In any case, we're both happy with it, and I'd recommend it to others.
