This wrist rest, as well as the mouse wrist rest, are both attractive and functional. They're small and fit perfectly on my desk, which isn't as big as the average office desk. Both have ample padding and a great appearance. I strongly advise you to purchase them.
I was a little skeptical that such a low-cost wrist rest could provide the support I required - It does, however. I spend a lot of time in front of my computer as a freelance writer and editor. For many years, this meant slaving away on a laptop computer. I can now plug in a keyboard and use a mouse in my new office, which has a large desk. My wrists, on the other hand, were becoming numb and tired. I needed a wrist rest that didn't take up too much room in my slide-in drawer and matched the colors in my office. Because I couldn't find anything in cornflower blue or orange that I liked, I went with a black background with colorful planets as a nod to my husband, who is an amateur astronomer. Perfect!.
The bag was sealed, and a product return was initiated. This isn't for you if you're allergic to certain chemicals. Certain items can be aired out; however, my experience tells me that this is not one of them. How challenging would it be to create this odor? What do you mean, "free"?.
I was looking for something fun to put on my desk, and the cute dots fit the bill perfectly!.
It arrived in a box with the keyboard wrist support not folded, allowing it to lay flat in the large box. You get a semi-finished product when you open both of the items. There was a strong odor of paint, but it could have been because it was wrapped in plastic (I'm not sure). This is the only reason I gave it four stars; once the odor has gone away, I'll update my rating.
The design is attractive, and the foam/gel padding is firm but not overly so. The keyboard wrist support, on the other hand, moves around a lot when you're using it. The fabric on the bottom is textured, but not particularly "grippy. " I got these on sale for $7 or $8, so they're a good deal. This set is not something I would pay full price for.
I work at my computer for eight hours a day, and the constant pressure of resting my hands on the desk while typing was causing soreness in my hands. My hands have felt a lot better as a result of this. The keyboard pad is only nonslip on one side and can be moved around easily. The mouse pad has a stick-in-place backing that prevents it from sliding around, but it can still be moved by peeling it off and reapplying it. My only wish is that the keyboard rest pad was a couple of inches longer to accommodate my keyboard, but otherwise I am very pleased with my purchase.
The slip backing is great, and the wrist support is perfect; I've bought others where the support wasn't thick enough and didn't help with my Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, so I'm glad this one does. Black and orange are the predominant colors. Although it appears to be red in the photo, it is actually orange.
