The design and size are perfect for a standard mouse, and I'm pleased with them. There isn't a whiff of anything. I was glad it came with a head-banging cushion for those rare occasions when I couldn't part the Red Sea or open the gates of heaven. Pinching and squeezing the soft and cushy fabric gives me pleasure during these unavoidable failures. And, of course, when I need to slam my head against the wall in frustration, I'm welcomed with open arms.
Oh, my goodness, I'm in love with these! So, a few months ago, I wrote a large paper in one sitting and broke my wrists badly enough that I couldn't do anything for a month. A MONTH. So, I got these, and what do I do now? Everything in my life is fine. br>While I still wouldn't recommend writing a 20-page paper in one sitting, these do make typing a lot easier. My wrists still ache from time to time, but they feel so much better with these little pads! They're also cute. br> What is there not to like about this?.
(From daughter) This was everything I needed to bring my passion for the sea to my workplace. It's lovely, vibrant, and even helps you unwind after a long day at the keyboard. I actually want to buy a second set for when I go back to work just so I can keep this at home! It fits my San Diego vibe, and when I'm feeling a little overwhelmed, all I have to do is look down and imagine myself on a sandy shoreline. In terms of ergonomics, my wrist had been hurting from my time as a writer to the point where I was concerned about carpal tunnel or even arthritis (and I'm only 31), and this padding provided immediate relief. Plus, my mother's naughty dog got his claws on the mouse pad, and it miraculously survived the attack, so I can attest to its toughness! Without a doubt, 5 out of 5 starts. I'm hoping it sticks around for a while!.
Also, the keyboard wrist guard has a flat end for a regular keyboard and a curved side that fits my ergo perfectly! I'd happily buy more in different patterns if they were available.
The mouse pad had a stain on it when it arrived. Like - Both pieces appear to have good cushions that aren't *too* soft. Super soft, non-itchy material; mouse pad bottom is very non-slip; both pieces appear to have good cushions that aren't *too* soft. I'm glad I got these because they're very comfortable. Excellent value for money! It was well worth the $20. In person, the fabric is nice; this was another pleasant surprise. br>Dislike - It doesn't appear to be very durable; the mouse pad arrived stained, and the mouse pad is quite small, especially if you have larger hands or a mouse of average size. The shape of the keyboard cushion is unusual. Because my keyboard is smaller than most, I can't have the same amount of cushioning on both wrists. The mouse pad is made of gel, while the keyboard cushion appears to be made of memory foam and is lumpy. The wrist cushion isn't quite as non-slip as the mouse pad; it moves around a little, but not enough to be bothersome.
I needed some extra padding because I was spending more time at my computer. Both the Wrist rest and the Mouse wrist rest are extremely soft and comfortable to use. You can also scroll around comfortably on the mouse pad. I also like the design, which goes well with my office.
The texture of the "squishy" part of the mousepad is exactly what I was expecting/looking for while shopping. Unfortunately, the wrist rest for the keyboard (which is the most important to me) does not have the same texture as the rest of the keyboard and feels more like memory foam or something similar. This product would have been fantastic if the keyboard wrist rest had been designed in the same way as the mousepad wrist rest. It could also benefit from being a little longer, as I frequently find my arms falling off the sides. Although, to be fair, the product information does state the length. Finally, my Apple Magic Mouse does not track well on the mousepad. That isn't the worst thing in the world to me because I was only going to use it as a decorative item. I ordered this for the keyboard wrist rest, and I'm not happy with how it feels.
Pros: br>I was very pleased with the design, which was not faded and looked exactly like the photos. Even with my Apple Watch on, I found the mousepad to be very comfortable and not too high or low for my wrist. It had gel in it and a sticky back to help it stay in place moderately. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. br>The keyboard wrist rest was tragic, and it appeared to be a completely different product than the mouse pad. Memory foam like material that flattened under the pressure of my wrist with the material being thicker on each end and little to nothing in the middle where it's actually needed. Came folded in half and the crease was so deep it wouldn't lay flat even after placing books on it for awhile. Also moved around a lot, unlike the mouse pad, which had a sticky bottom that kept it in place. br>I'm returning it and will try again with a different company for better and more consistent results.
