I'm a freelance writer, and after sitting at my keyboard for too long, I began to experience wrist and hand pain. I bought these for my work area (which also happens to be my dining table) because the marble pattern is attractive, and the pads are comfortable to type on. They also work well with my Apple magic mouse. I only wish the keyboard pad's finish matched the mousepad's. There's also a minor color difference between the two (despite the fact that they're supposed to match). It's not a big deal; it's just that if those two minor flaws were addressed, the set would be perfect. I'm happy with my purchase in general.
It's attractive and functional, and it's saved my wrists in a big way! br>br>For two reasons, I deducted a star: To begin with, the keyboard pad lacks the same type of anti-slip material as the mouse pad. I wish the bottom could function as a mousepad. The keyboard pad moves around a little, but the mousepad stays in place. Second, these two pieces aren't quite the same size. They look similar but they are a slightly different shade of blue and the flowers do not match 100%. br>br>It's obvious that these two pieces weren't designed to work together, but they do the job perfectly. Wrist pain is no longer an issue!.
It's a fantastic mousepad. It feels much more expensive than it was because of the gel wrist rest and grippy bottom. The keyboard rest, which is made of a different material than the gel on the mousepad and is much firmer, is far less impressive. I'm hoping it will break in a little over time because it's quite tall, and my wrists would be much more efficient if they were sunk into it. As others have pointed out, the keyboard rest's edges are raised, making it appear less expensive than the mousepad. br>br>I'll keep and use both, but if you're looking for something softer for your keyboard, I wouldn't recommend this set. Unlike some other sets I've seen for sale, the rests are made of the same fabric as the rests. That matters to me, and I'm a perfectionist when it comes to such matters. Regardless, I would recommend these to anyone looking to save money, though if you're willing to spend a little more, you should probably do so.
Colors are a little washed out compared to what they appear to be in the photo - The flower print is clean (not pixelated) and the colors are crisp with no bleed. I was expecting a deep navy color, and the actual color of the background is a little more purple than what I would have preferred. The material is soft, and both the keyboard and mouse wrist supports have sufficient cushion height to be ergonomic and comfortable. The cushion is also firm, supportive, and holds its shape. The keyboard wrist rest is also cushioned enough that I've found myself resting my elbow on it while just browsing the internet, which is extremely comfortable. The wrist rests I replaced them with were boring black wrist rests, so this is a nice upgrade.
My wrist was bothering me, so I needed something to support it while I worked on the computer. This is very comfortable and meets the requirements perfectly. I'm giving it three stars, though, because it's a little unattractive. I bought it because of the marble print, but it's not what I expected. I placed an order for the "white" They sent me "Marbles," which has large sections of yellow/orange, and it appears that they sent me "Gold Marbles. " It only appears to be a little soiled. I should have gone with the "Turquoise Marble" option, in retrospect. I almost returned it, but decided it wasn't worth the trouble because I had already ordered some marble-looking items for my office, and these don't look anything like them.
These are cute and comfortable, but the keyboard pad has an odd feel to it. br>br>The mouse pad has a surface on the underside that grips my desk, ensuring that it does not move while I'm using it. Because the keyboard pad lacks this feature, it constantly slides around my desk, forcing me to constantly reposition it, which is inconvenient and distracting. br>br>In addition, the fabric around the mouse pad's edge is nicely wrapped and appears clean and well-kept. made. However, the keyboard pad lacks this feature - The fabric has been cut around the edges so that the black rubber padding beneath the keyboard pad can be seen. Although the mousepad is attractive and professional-looking, the keyboard pad is not. br>br>You can see how the edges are different in the images I posted, as well as the difference between the underside of the keyboard pad (softer rubber that gets dusty and doesn't stick to the desk) and the mousepad (shiny, sticky rubber that is well made and sticks to the desk). br>br>As a result, they appear to be a little shoddy and poorly constructed. It would appear that the two pieces were made entirely differently if it weren't for the fabric matching. When there are so many other options, I would not recommend this. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> It's now visibly dirty and extremely difficult to clean after 7 months of use. Will have to get a black one that is of higher quality in order for it to last longer.
I like the softness of the trees in the design of the night sky. The material is soft and squishy. br>My only quibble is that the bottom of the keyboard rest should match the mouse pad. The mouse pad has a fantastic rubber backing that adheres to whatever surface it is placed on. The keyboard rest doesn't move around a lot, but it does shift slightly. If you're OCD like me, you'll notice that the stitching on the mouse pad differs significantly from that on the keyboard rest.
Work is like a second home for us because we spend at least half of our day there. Why not make it feel and appear as if you want to be there? I'm going to get another one for my home office because they're so soft and comfortable. I think the wrist pad is a little stiffer, but it's still a great product.
