First and foremost, when I use it at work, I receive compliments. The fern pattern is one of my favorites, and it brightens up my day - Although corny, this is correct. I don't think the printed art is as muted as some people have claimed. However, when I'm working, I prefer not to use a bright pad. I like the color because it is "just right" for me. Second, it is relaxing. br>br> When I ordered it, I was unsure if I would like the built-in wrist pad, but I do. After having carpal tunnel surgery on both wrists, I want to take good care of my hands and wrists. As someone who has spent a lot of time working on computers (hence the carpal tunnel), I now have arthritis in my thumb and index finger, so the wrist pad and the well-fitting gloves are essential. The comfort of the cushioned pad appears to be a plus. By the end of the day, my hands don't hurt as much. br>br>While I wish the pad was a little larger on top, I understand why it is the size it is. For smaller spaces, people prefer smaller pads - which is why I ordered it in the first place - I planned to do it at my tiny kitchen desk. Instead, I brought it to work with me. Because I have two monitors, I've had to get used to moving the mouse around to get to the other one. But that's not a problem. br>br>Overall, it's a good deal, and I'm glad I went ahead and bought it.
It's a lovely pad. It's very pretty and worked well for a few months, but after three months, the gel started to separate, and by month five, the seams had split, spilling gell. Because the pad is cut too close to the gel pad, there isn't much to hold the seam in place. In short, it's poorly constructed, and if you plan to use it on a daily basis, you'd be better off spending a few dollars more on something that will last longer than a few months. It's similar to a potholder in appearance. It's nice to look at, but it might not work if you use it.
It's not made of slick plastic, so it'll last a long time. When I use the mouse on top of it, it doesn't move. It shouldn't be too big or too heavy. Wrist support that is both functional and attractive.
I would strongly suggest it.
I have wrist pain when working on a flat surface after many years of keyboarding. When I ordered this, the pain and discomfort of holding my hand/wrist at a certain angle, as well as numbness on one finger, went away. It works! I returned to place a second order for my husband.
Three stars because the pad is attractive, despite the fact that the colors are not as vibrant as they appear in the photo. When it comes to comfort, it actually hurts my wrist; I'm not sure if the padding is too firm or too thick, but either way, I have to constantly reposition my hand.
