It's as if the foam is wrapped in a cloth material. I used Windex disinfectant multi-purpose cleaner to clean it. I sprayed a paper towel and wiped it down, and it seemed to work fine.

It was over a month ago that I purchased this. It hasn't loosened up at all, and I adore it. The bottom of the mouse pad keeps it in place, which I like. I wish the keyboard had a similar feature. It's always moving, which irritates me, which is why there's no star. I really like how they look, and I get a lot of compliments on them.
The keyboard pad and mousepad have different padding. It draws attention to the transition from one to the other. The mousepad is slightly smaller and firmer than the keyboard pad. The colors are bright and appealing. It accomplishes the task at hand. The keyboard pad moving around doesn't bother me at all. Because I have to move things around on my desk, I won't be removing the mousepad's backing, so I won't be able to comment on how well it stays in place. It appears to stay in place without needing to be removed. It's a little annoying that the edges of each are different. The edges of the keyboard pad have been cut so that they are black and protrude slightly. I expect these to flatten out over time, and the mousepad looks better on the edges because the material is smooth all the way down and there is no black. I would have chosen the cheaper option if I had found something similar for a lower price. I'd say it's overpriced by about $3 or $4.

This set arrived just as I was getting a new desk with a keyboard tray. br>br>My old desk had a surface that was too narrow for the keyboard and this flared mouse pad, so I got a small plain mouse pad to replace it. When I got a new desk, the keyboard tray had a raised lip that hurt my wrists, so I brought this set back out. br>br>Both pieces' wrist cushions are too shallow and firm to effectively work with the tray's rim. Despite the non-slip backing, which is mostly useful for collecting dust and small crumbs, the mouse pad slides around on the wooden surface. It slides up over the tray's metal side rail, catching in the roller and being torn up when I close the tray. That's a flaw in the desk, I suppose, but I'm not sure how they'd design it differently, so I'm going to say this isn't suitable for use on a pull-out couch. neither on a tray nor in a cramped space.
As others have stated, I work at a computer for eight hours each day. I work 9 hours a day and have noticed that after hours of typing, my wrists and hands are beginning to hurt. When it finally arrived, I was very pleased with the design. I've been using it for over a week and can confidently say that it has alleviated the pain in my hands and wrists that I've been experiencing while typing and using the mouse. I have a minor quibble with the name "Light Green," because what appeared on my monitor as light green and aqua turned out to be more yellow and medium blue. In the version I received, lavender is the dominant color. However, I will not be returning because I was not attempting to "match" any particular decorating scheme. The pieces are attractive, colorful, and appear to be well-made, as if they won't fall apart in a matter of weeks. They brighten up my work environment while also keeping my wrists in good shape. The shipping was quick, and there was little unnecessary packaging.
