Thank you very much for your inquiry. Memory foam is used in their construction. Sorry, but "gell" is a word I don't understand well. I hope this has been of assistance.
Also, a slight odor is to be expected.

I was hesitant to buy this mouse pad at first, but I'm glad I did. It's well-made, and the colors are vibrant; it's smooth, and the edges don't curl like some others. The gel, like the keyboard rest that comes with it, is the perfect amount of softness. The only issue you'll face is choosing a color. There are a few options that are particularly appealing.
It's also incredibly comfortable to wear.
My right hand corner of the palm was getting a lot of soreness from rubbing my mouse against the desk, and my wrists were tired by the end of the day. br>I purchased this set to address these concerns. br>The matching keyboard and mouse pads are both soft and supportive, as well as attractive. They've improved the quality of my work and made it more enjoyable. I'm so happy I came across these!.
The keyboard pad had a small crease in it, which was most likely caused by shipping in standard Amazon plastic packaging. It only takes a few minutes for the foam to expand, and after a day or two, it is no longer visible. The first two photos were taken a few hours after the setup was completed - There's no way to tell there was ever an indentation in the first place. For added protection, the keyboard pad and mousepad were each enclosed in its own piece of plastic. This added support and comfort for my wrists is something I've been missing. I like how the mousepad has a non-slip grip underneath it, and I recommend wiping down the surface before using it. This package had arrived a day earlier than expected, which was a pleasant surprise, and I was looking forward to getting back to work and putting them both to good use!.
The set is fantastic. The only problem I have is that the mousepad and armrest are made of different materials. Inside the wrist rest, the mousepad is made of a jelly-like material, whereas the wrist rest bar is made of a less comfortable foam. Sending it back isn't a big deal. Both are comfortable, but I prefer the all-gel version. Overall, it's a fantastic addition to my newly renovated home office. If I changed the color scheme, I'd still buy another.
My desk is absolutely stunning.
My hand is swollen at the base of my thumb, and I have tendinitis. In the future, I'm also concerned about carpal tunnel syndrome. I've been using these all day at work, and they've been fantastic. The fact that they're a little firmer appeals to me. Some of the ones with squishy memory foam or beads soften over time and become less effective. Since using these, my hands aren't as tired at the end of the day.
I really like my wrist rest (I don't need or use the keyboard rest). Both products are well-made and sturdy, and the design is fantastic! Have you been using it for more than a year now? NO PROBLEMS! My wrist has never hurt from being on the computer all day (I work 8 hours straight on a computer, so I REALLY need/use my wrist rest!) Highly recommended!.
