  This is a fantastic alternative to Apple's more expensive pencil, especially for iPad 11 and 12 users. There are nine Pro devices in total. Typically, new iPads require the 2nd generation pencil, which costs twice as much as this one. br>br>The Crayon works in a similar way to the Apple pencil, with the same low latency and wrist detection. As someone who has used the Apple pencil for a few years, the functionality felt very similar, if not identical, to that of the original. This is done with Apple's pencil hardware, which is superior to many capacitive styluses on the market. br>br>In apps that support it, the Crayon will mimic the ability of the Apple pencil to draw an angled/tilted line, but it will not support Apple's pressure detection. Because of the lack of pressure sensitivity, this is not a good choice for artists, but notetakers and children should be fine with it. I also appreciate the fact that it can be turned off to conserve the battery's charge. br>br>In general, this is a great alternative to the Apple stylus. I didn't want to spend the extra money on the Apple Pencil because I don't need pressure sensitivity and I can't draw a stick figure. This is an excellent option for note takers, organizers, and non-writers. people who are creative, such as myself And, while my son is away at kindergarten for the summer, I was able to download tracing apps, and he was able to use the crayon on a variety of apps for his writing! It's great for kids, and it looks a lot like "my first pencil. " It's not at all uncomfortable to hold, charges quickly, and connects with a single click of a button; it costs $70. I had to snag it on Amazon when the price dropped, but I'd recommend keeping an eye on the pricing here because Amazon will only drop the price by a dollar or two from retail, and it may be cheaper in store with a coupon. But, since this is mine, I'm definitely going to buy one for my son!.

Several factors have contributed to this. To begin with, the cost is significantly lower (nearly half). Second, the pen shaft's shape (smooth, with a flat shape on each side and an elliptical curve on each side with just the faintest hint of metallic "grip") is quite comfortable and may allow for greater control when performing various tasks. Third, unlike the Apple Pencil, the pen does not require pairing via Bluetooth. It has a good look and feel to it, and I don't think there will be any functional or structural issues with it over time (it feels just as solid as Apple's pen, despite the orange pieces on each end). I use both the Apple Pencil and this Logitech pencil, and I'm happy with both for different reasons. I happened to look on the Logitech website by chance, and I discovered that they sell both replacement tips and tip shields for the unit, which is quite nice. So, I use both the Apple Pencil and this Logitech pencil, and I'm happy with both for different reasons. The pen does require charging (about 30 minutes), which is done by popping the top orange cap at the end of the pencil and connecting it to a lightning cable. The only drawback I've discovered so far is that you can't use both the Apple Pencil and the Logitech pencil on the iPad at the same time. Either way, it's a toss-up. However, it isn't a major flaw, and I am confident in recommending this Logitech pen. It's a lot of fun to use, and I find myself switching back and forth between the two pens depending on what I'm doing (writing, drawing, coloring, etc. ).

I placed my order without hesitation. And I'm glad I held off. It was well worth the money. br>br>I like how flat it is. It's a lot more manageable. I'm used to using a hexagonal pencil because it gives me more grip and stability. Also, I've tried other styluses from this site, and none of them compare to the Logi Crayon. There is no space between the stylus' tip and the screen's actual registration. That means you'll see a dot where the tip is placed, rather than a millimeter away. It has a nice weight to it as well. I could go on and on about how important this is to the product's quality. To put it another way, it's a fantastic deal. By the way, I'm using it on my iPad Pro 12th Generation. 9”. br>br>There are two things that I don't care about, but are worth mentioning: 1) it lacks pressure sensitivity, and 2) it is unable to activate the switcher bar or summon the app dock. There are two minor issues that aren't a major concern for me. Others might think it's a big deal.
