My name is John, and I would like to thank you There is no way that the signal booster connects to your LAN. Now let's take a closer look at the booster's working principle. A cell tower antenna provides a strong signal to the outside antenna via the cable and it is sent to the booster. A booster enhances the outside signal, and then it sends it to an antenna on the inside. Your home's devices are covered by the boosted signal transmitted by the inside antenna. It didn't improve my signal at all, so I ended up returning it because I live in a rural area where cell service is spotty.
There is no penetration through walls with the indoor booster. An individual needs to be within 4 feet of the box in order to receive.
Installing the connectors will require drilling extra-large holes because the connectors are so huge. A small indoor antenna can only send its signals in a 120 degree pattern towards the outdoor antenna since it cannot have a larger signal. There were four bars at first, but as time went on, one bar became the norm. Each time the outdoor antenna direction was adjusted, it would result in the same problem. The compass was used to point it in the direction of No improvements have been made.
It took us 5 feet to stand within 5 feet of the transmitter for the booster to increase our signal by 1 bar after installation even after adjusting the receiving antennae according to the instructions. This only lasted for a couple of days, after which it stopped working. It appears either the booster unit itself is defective or the power supply has failed since none of the indicator lights from the booster unit are turning on anymore. This product is not good.
I had no signal before, but it was greatly boosted by this.
The booster finally arrived, so I finally had the chance to set THIS up. . . (had to wait until they could send me an additional one)
I now have a full signal at all times, where before I had barely.
When less than 0 is entered Having a dBm as low as 90 is useless, so the description should reflect this instead of just having one or two Though difficult to install, it is simple to use.
