When the car provided power, it worked fine with my Samsung S20 5G charging before it failed. It appears to be a good stand because it allows the phone to be close to the window (for GPS reception) and in front of an AC vent (to keep the phone cool when the sun is shining on it). All while remaining out of the field of vision so as not to obstruct driving. Manual closing of the clamp is still possible. The second one came with one button pressed firmly, but it worked, so I double-checked the power supply. The part that plugs into the cigar lighter turns out to have a spring loaded center pin that is stuck in on the one that doesn't work. The one that works has a center pin that extends and makes contact, and thankfully, the wireless charger can be used with any standard power supply.

This charger has a number of advantages. It charges quickly, I appreciate the wireless functionality, and the ability to rotate the phone is fantastic. There is one major flaw. When mounted to the dash, the suction cup is extremely strong. During the winter. The holder falls off the dash as soon as the temperature outside rises above 80 degrees, even if the phone is not in it. I tried rinsing the suction cup in water to remove any residue and cleaning the dash with an alcohol wipe, then reinstalling it, but it fell off again an hour later. I didn't want to have to use the vent clip and close a vent, but it's the only way to make it work. When you have a passenger or are using your phone for directions, it's extremely unprofessional to have your charger constantly fall off. The design could be improved to make this a better product.

I've tried a few different phone holders and this one is by far my favorite. The vent clip is what I use, and it keeps everything in place very well. I like that when I put my phone in the holder, it automatically grasps the edges, holds it securely in place, and charges without the need to fiddle with cords. I can adjust the height and angle so that I can see my map without obstructing my view of the road while driving. The release buttons are in perfect working order. It charges quickly; I bought one for myself, one for my husband, and I'm going to get one for my mother as well. I didn't use the suction, but it appears that if I did, it would hold the dash in place very securely. This is an excellent product.

This is being written on the first day, but I wanted to make sure that others were aware of it. My iPhone 11 is connected to an Apple Smart Battery Pack. I looked for a car holder that could handle the thick case for several weeks and finally found one that works. I'd tried and returned several others, and I was on the verge of giving up. The self-gripping arms and Qc charging capabilities are also advantages of this model. It will be interesting to see how well the arms and motor hold up, but it fits right into my daily driving routine. I'm planning a road trip in a few weeks and will see if the Qc charging can keep up with the constant power draw of Waze.

But it only works halfway. It keeps opening and dropping my phone, and I see I'm not alone in this. It could just be the potholes on the road where I live, but it's a pain. For my other vehicle, I will not purchase another.
EDIT. It's possible that I was planning ahead of time. This product has been assessed. My phone was broken, so I had to buy a new one. With this one, the holder/charger functions properly. If it's allowed, I'll give it five stars because it works well on my new phone.

I have two of these, one in my personal truck and one in my work vehicle, and the only issue I've had with them is mounting them to the dash or window, particularly the dash, which requires meticulous cleaning. Aside from that, I've had no issues with this device; it charges quickly and reliably, and I've been very pleased with it thus far.

This was not a wise investment. The suction cup itself, as well as the way it's constructed, is extremely durable. However, the clamps on my phone have opened at random while I've been driving, and my phone has dropped multiple times while I've been trying to figure out what's wrong. I've tried closing the clamps on the phone with the left button rather than the right one. I've even allowed the phone to close automatically, and it continues to open at random when I'm driving. It charges and is durable, but I am dissatisfied with this purchase thus far. This device isn't worth the money, and it doesn't do what it's supposed to.

This is fantastic. The car holder for charging your phone is excellent. My phone is heavy and thick because I use a Mophie charging case. Handles have been bumped but have not yet fallen out of the holder. I've never purchased a better one. It comes highly recommended! br>br>I've bought and returned a lot of other things. This one is going to be a keeper!.
