and that's the one I'd go with. This is why:
1. With a pressure clipper, the air vent mount is sturdy. I'm not about to lose any time soon.
2. 3. It's simple to set upbr> My iPhone 12 Pro Max with case fits perfectly in the mount area. and keep it firmly in placebr>4. The design is simple and does not appear to be low-cost.
5. There is still a battery running in your car after you turn it off, which allows your phone to be unclipped. Unlike some other products, you won't be able to remove your phone from the mount if the power goes out.
I was looking forward to receiving this item because it would eliminate the need for me to constantly connect and disconnect the charge cable in my vehicle (I'm always on the go). The installation was simple, but there are a few things to keep in mind: 1. br>br> When your vents are vertical (meaning |||), you'll notice some wobbling when turning and so on. While the back tightening lever can keep it in place, the clamp isn't wide (or thick) enough to keep it secure. Your experience might be different if you have horizontal vents.
2. This was purchased for my Note 20 Ultra, which is protected by a standard (average) case. It barely fit, and I had to nudge it in, but you can still hear the item clamping down on it, which worked well. You might have better luck with a slim case, but the clamps on the side with the phone/case indentation sat behind my phone, defeating the purpose or use of keeping it secure.
3. If you live in Florida or a similar climate/temperature environment, this unit is a waste of money. When charging, it quickly heats up. You might be able to get away with it if you're an AC person, but I prefer to have my windows open the majority of the time, which the unit didn't like. This unit spent more time keeping my phone charge paused than actually charging due to the high temperatures and rapid temperature rise when charging. br>br>Unfortunately, I had no choice but to return the device. I'm hoping to find another one, or else I'll have to rely on cable charging for the time being.
Sturdy and cool, to say the least! br>However, I can't seem to get fast charging to work; it's either extremely slow or not at all. It increases by 4% in 2 hours. Other chargers I'm charged in 60 min from 10%, and there 10w
Other chargers I'm charged in 60 min from 10%, and there and there and there and there and br>I'm replacing it due to its makeup, and I plan to buy five more as gifts. Then I'll give you an update: br>NOTE: THIS PAGE HAS BEEN UPDATED. br>I PURCHASED another as a gift and received what appears to be the return of someone else. Sad. br>I was refunded, but I really like the model and how it looks, so I would recommend taking a chance. br>You can always return it, hoping that the seller will at the very least properly repack the item. br>THE APPLICATION HAS BEEN RECEIVED.
Not only does this case hold my phone in place (it's not a bulky case), but it also charges it at the same time. I've had a similar phone mount that claims to charge phones quickly but never does and never holds my phone well. This isn't the case with this car mount. It not only holds my phone, but it also charges it quickly. I have to commute to work for two hours and return home for two hours. My phone is always charged to 100% within those 2 hours, even before I meet the 1 hour mark. My phone is usually dead or close to it, and this will charge it and keep it charged for the duration of the trip. What I like about this holder is that it doesn't completely block the vent, but once it's clipped on, this car mount is difficult to move unless the lock is released. Mount for your phone that is both strong and stable.
Excellent value for money, and a fantastic charger. The feature that I like the most is that, unlike most other chargers, you can still remove the phone after turning off the car ignition because it retains power for a short time, preventing you from having to restart the car or turn on the accessory ignition setting to remove the phone after you've already turned off the car. My previous car had this feature for my sunroof, but my current vehicle does not, which is inconvenient because I frequently forget to remove my phone and close the sunroof before turning off the car. For a wireless charger, it charges quickly, and the mount on the AC vent allows you to continue talking on the phone. My old mount was on the window, and on hot summer days, the phone and charging would frequently turn off due to the sun beating down.
This was purchased to replace a different cup holder phone mount that I was using while driving Uber or Lyft. The wireless charging was the main reason for my purchase. My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G, which is kept in a thin case that is compatible with all of my other wireless chargers. br>br>The phone "just" fits into the mount with this case. Without the case, I'm sure it would fit fine, but a $1000 phone? It'll be kept in a box for the time being. So, if this mount is updated, it should be a little wider to accommodate larger phones in cases. br>br>The wireless charging is the main issue I have with this mount. The phone chimes and indicates that it is charging when I first place it in the mount. The charging, on the other hand, comes and goes on a regular basis. I can tell because it starts charging every time the chime sounds. As a result, it will not keep my phone at 100% charge. But it has kept it above 70% after a night of driving it has kept it above 70% it has kept it above 70% it has kept it This, too, could be improved, in my opinion. Perhaps the phone is held too high by the mount, and the charging area is inadequate.
