The brim has a three-dimensional look to it. The front is 2" wide and the sides and back are 1 5/8" wide. The height of the crown is standard: The middle measurement is 5".
A Medium is the best option for you. Because this hat runs (slightly) large, the M is the best option.
I really like how the hat looks on me. It's a medium size. I have a narrow head, maybe 7 1/8 inches, but there's enough room in this had for me. You might be able to get away with a 7 1/2. It keeps my head warm, which I appreciate.
If you order directly from Levine Hat Company, you can send us a "product customization request" and we'll gladly take it off for you. It's also worth noting that removing it yourself is very simple. The feather pulls out easily on most hats, but on this one, you'll have to cut the stem of the feather, which won't be visible.

Made in China, but of reasonable quality for the price; mine arrived squished in a typical Amazon box, but it recovered. The style and color (black) were both flawless. Yes, they are large, but that was a blessing in disguise for me. I usually go for the 7 5/8 size and always end up regretting it - Always just a tad bit smaller. I chose X-large for this hat. It's a large hat, and it's probably the only one I own that actually fits me.
I chose this hat because it was wool and had a brim that wasn't too wide. I hoped it would fit. It came in a box with padding to prevent it from being crushed during shipping. The feather decoration was also protected by a band around the hat. For the price, the hat is well-made. It is well-fitting and attractive. I like this hat a lot and might order another one in a different color.
The hat is very elegant, and there was plenty of room for it to fit over my head. I was concerned because I was on the verge of becoming an extra large. I ordered a large, which fits perfectly. It would be more snug if I weren't bald, so I used the lining provided to put alongside the inside headband to make it more snug. Overall, I'm pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the overall appearance of the hat.
It's a little tight, like a couple of other fedoras I own, but it's so nice that I'm going to buy a hat stretcher from Amazon to fix it and my other fedoras. br>br>Packaging gets a two-star rating. This hat came in a box with a MyBook external hard drive and no other packaging, popcorn, or even bubble wrap. Needless to say, when the hat arrived, it was in terrible shape. Fortunately, the hat is of excellent quality and was able to be restored to its previous state.

After reading some of the reviews, I was undecided about purchasing this. Of course, I placed an order for it. It came in a box, and when I opened it, it was in good condition. I let it sit overnight and put it on the next day, and I was so pleased with how well it fit that I ordered a medium in brown, which I've been wearing for the past two weeks. It's of good quality, including the brim, which I think is just the right size; it's of good quality, but you never know until it arrives.
Nice hat. It runs a little large; I'm a 7 1/4, so I ordered the medium, which says 7 to 7 1/8. It sits a little low and is still a little big, so I'd recommend going down a size. When a hat is too small, it's easier to stretch and wear in, but I haven't discovered a good way to shrink one. ) It is, however, of high quality. It has a nice thickness, a nice feel, and a nice appearance. If you can't afford a Borsolino Bellini, this is an affordable alternative. But it's a very similar hat.
The hat appears to be of reasonable quality for the price, but it came in a soft-sided mailer. By the time it arrived at my house, it had almost completely disintegrated. I straightened it out as much as I could and put it to good use. I was unable to return it because of a lack of time.
