A metal stand that functions as an easel is included in the box. The top should have the "rounded" section, and the bottom should have the very small metal lip. The frame will sit flush against the wall, and the stand will be nearly undetectable.
Hello. Photos are saved for two days on our cloud server and will be updated when you reconnect - You must, however, be within the specified time frame.
Hell. Yes, you can send photos via the app or email to as many people as you want. Of course, the frame owner has final say over who can send photos.
I'm relieved to see that this question has been addressed. I messed with it for probably two hours looking for settings to change and was ready to reset to factory default and start over, and if it still didn't display the slide show as expected, I was planning to return it. br>br>It isn't always turned on, and I didn't realize the issue only happened when the light was dim. When the auto dim display setting is turned off, the slide show replaces the clock in dimly lit rooms. (It may or may not be in the documentation, but I didn't notice it in the two hours I spent fiddling with it.) br>br>Thank you for providing the solution to those who were able to figure it out. br>br>It's interesting that another user prefers the clock display over the slide show when it's dark, but I turn the unit off (switched power outlet) at night or when it's not in use.

It really works. Setup is a breeze. It's ideal for my elderly parents who aren't computer savvy, as it allows us to share photos from afar. br>br>Only one disadvantage - The photos appear to be displayed in the order in which they are received in the slideshow. From what I can tell, the photos aren't being shuffled at random. As a result, they are displayed in the same manner in which they were received. If someone uploads 30 photos of little Johnny's birthday party, that's all they see until the next batch of photos is received, so hopefully it's user error on my part. To keep things interesting, I'd like them to be more random. br>br>However, it was exactly what I was looking for, and I am pleased with my purchase.
After my daughter was born, I purchased six of the 8" frames to give to family members. I was setting one up for myself and discovered issues that are deal breakers for me, such as being able to send remotely to all frames at once, SD card storage to allow adding photos in a large batch from the PC vs sending a few at a time after transferring to my phone first, and with a newborn I could easily see sharing videos and didn't want to fill up the internal storage with wedding photos etc. 1. br>br> I purchased a 32GB SD card for each frame so that I could easily share wedding photos, family photos, and so on. I copied a large number of photos to the SD card, inserted it into the frame, and turned it on. Only the photos I had sent to the frame via the app played; I went into the app settings and selected the SD card; the photos from the SD card played, but none of the photos I had sent to the frame via the app did. Support confirmed that the frame will only play photos from one source at a time when I contacted them: (My parents are 70 years old, and they already have trouble watching YouTube TV, so trying to persuade them to view photos from the SD card in the frame is out of the question. ) br>br>The second major flaw is that there is no way to shuffle the photos; they only play in the order in which they were added to the frame. br>br>The third issue is that if you accidentally send an incorrect photo through the app, there is no way to delete it. Again, parents are in their 70s, so trying to persuade them to delete a specific photo from the frame will be futile. br>br>The frames are beautiful, and the photo quality is excellent, but the application that controls the frame has a few flaws.
I opened it to preload some photos on it after receiving it as a gift for Christmas. The description says it holds 5000 photos, but the box says it only holds 1000, and when I tried to load photos, it only let me load 50. I contacted the company, but they were of little assistance. It had to be a "manufacture error," they said. " Needless to say, they were very accommodating in offering a refund, and I returned the frame today. I see the frame is no longer available, so I'm wondering if many of us had this problem and they decided to discontinue the product. I like the concept, but the 50 photo limit didn't work for me.
This was a Christmas present for my parents and my in-laws, so I ordered it. laws, all of whom are in their seventies. At my full-time job, I work on a computer and can pretty much figure out how to do everything except THIS. No. It provides weather updates, but only for Bangor, Maine, and it is not possible to change the location. You can upload photos, but you won't be able to browse them manually. How can you give it as a gift if you don't know how to use it yourself? I'm sure there's something better out there, and I'm going to keep looking. It was a waste of money.
However, I'm glad I bought it! It's of good quality, and it comes with a white insert that you can use instead of the black insert around the screen. The screen is touch, and everything is very simple to set up. When you first turn it on, it has step-by-step instructions, or it comes with a manual. In less than 5 minutes, you can have it up and running. If you're not tech-savvy, enlist the help of your children or grandchildren. I'm looking forward to giving this to my in-laws for Christmas, as they are new grandparents. We'll buy one for ourselves after the holidays!.
Grandma. I hoped they'd be simple to use. These things are foolproof! They are fantastic! It's incredibly simple to set up, and it's even better if it works out. Because Grandma insisted on touching the screen and causing havoc, I programmed it to return to the pictures after 30 seconds.
The first one I received was defective, but I contacted the company via email, and they promptly sent me a replacement once the defective one was received. It was simple to set up and load photos into the system via email. However, I wish I could upload more than 9 pictures at once, and that the pictures would be uploaded to the frame in the same orientation as they were loaded. It was a pain to have to rotate pictures in the frame once they were uploaded, which was a pain. If you're tech savvy, it'll be simple to figure out, but I imagine the elderly will have trouble. Aside from that, this is an excellent product for the money.
