However, after using it and comparing it to other similar products, I can confidently say that this is my favorite, as many other products require you to email your photos, which is inconvenient. It's as simple as taking a picture with your phone and uploading it to the app. It also allows you to watch videos, something for which many competitors charge a monthly fee. All you have to do now is pay for the product, and you'll have everything you'll ever need. I've already purchased three of them.
Purchased as a Mother's Day gift so that I could upload videos - Despite the fact that it is advertised to support video upload, we continue to receive an error stating that the device does not yet support videos (even though the box says it does). - I am extremely disappointed. Isn't deceptive advertising against the law? BUYING ONE OF THESE IS NOT A GOOD IDEA.
I'm very pleased with how simple it is to use. It has intuitive and simple functions. The digital picture frame has received photos from several members of the family. One thing to think about: The manual stated several times that the power should not be disconnected until the digital picture frame has been turned off. What if the house loses power for a short period of time while the digital picture frame remains turned on? I had indeed unplugged the power source while the digital picture frame was still turned on by accident. I reconnected the power source, and the digital picture frame has worked flawlessly since then. It didn't appear to have any negative effects.
I was able to restore all of the photos and captions from the first frame using the SD card (I didn't try USB). This was fantastic because they had spent a long time organizing, captioning, and loading the original frame in the proper order. However - You shouldn't expect much in the way of knowledgeable responses from this seller. Their first response, as shown below, had nothing to do with the question. When I inquired about captions later, they informed me that only photos, not captions, would be restored. When I restored from the SD card, however, the captions were also restored. The "fit to frame" option is a bonus that I didn't realize I needed until I tried a different frame. Because old scanned photos have different aspect ratios than digital photos, heads at the top of a photo were cut off on other frames without this feature, and so on. You can see the entire picture in a single frame. A photo in portrait orientation (vertical) can also be uploaded. If you "fit to frame," you'll see the entire photo, but what if a portion of it isn't important to you? You're not interested in legs; instead, you'd like to focus on faces. If you don't select fit to frame when loading a portrait-oriented photo, it will display in landscape (horizontal) orientation, giving you exactly what you're looking for. a larger image of the top part of the photo, which allowed me to focus on faces rather than whole bodies in the vertical (portrait) photo in my case. I didn't realize how important this feature was until I noticed that it was missing from other frames. br>br>While this frame has a number of flaws, it is the only one I've found that comes close to meeting my requirements - the ability to prepare a plug ahead of time pre-game frame The frame will eventually be connected to the facility's wi-fi and filled with captioned photos for a memory-impaired elderly relative. The frame, however, can show photos even if there is no internet connection. It will automatically boot up and start the slideshow as soon as it is plugged in; the display is good. However, the lack of a battery and the inability to easily manipulate photo order or edit captions remain significant flaws. But, at the very least, the SD restore/backup function works, which is essential if the recipient is a "fiddler" who might fiddle with the on/off and settings. The restore function works on the replacement frame, so the rating has been raised to three stars. It has the potential for 5 stars with a few changes by the manufacturer, but it isn't quite there yet. br>******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Backup for the year 2021. FAIL USB. FAIL. There are a lot of things missing. br>br>I had been looking for a frame that was virtually plug and play for quite some time. For starters, the USB doesn't work, there is no reference to it in the manual, the seller's response was not even relevant to my question about it, and I'm not sure why it's even on the frame. I ordered it to my house first so I could set up all the pictures in advance and work out any issues. It was simple to transfer photos from my phone to the frame, but you can't fix or change anything if you make a mistake in the caption or want to rearrange the photos. You must delete and resend the photo in order for it to be displayed as the most recent. If the order of display is critical, you must delete back to the point where that photo was taken and resend everything. I was able to successfully backup to a micro SD card, verify that it wrote to the card, and then test the restore function. To start a restore from SD, you must first reset the frame completely. Okay, so it erased everything I'd done, and when I tried to restore it, it said there was no backup. To put it another way, the backup feature isn't available. At all. Additional questions for the seller - unanswered questions I cannot recommend this frame because of these flaws and the seller's lack of communication.
I recently purchased a 10" FRAMEO, which I absolutely adore! It was so simple to set up that I didn't even need help! On the touch screen, you can edit and delete photos that aren't working. It is possible to add a description to the photos. It even has the ability to play sound-enabled short videos. I recently purchased one for my bestie, who recently relocated to a new city and is separated from her family. Because I'm a first-time new Great-grandparent, I got mine. Grandma! Every day, I receive pictures of my "Great!" Because he lives so far away, a daily photo would be fantastic! I also included some personal photos. I even threw in some memes because I'm that way LOL! It hasn't caused me any issues! This purchase has made me extremely happy. Is it time to celebrate Mom's or Grandma's birthday? Instead of slippers or perfume, I'm sure they'd appreciate one of these.
It's my in-laws' dog, but because we live together, she was also very close to my family. She was ill, with an inoperable pulmonary mass. It's been difficult having her around. I ordered this electric frame and loaded all of the photos we had of her from the time she was four weeks old until she passed away. It makes me sad to see it because I miss her, but it also serves to keep her memory alive; she was such a spunky pup with such a personality that I believe the frame aids in the family's healing process. I got the app and started uploading photos. It was, in my opinion, a relatively simple procedure. You can only upload a maximum of 10 images or videos at a time, so it took me a while to get everything loaded, but the end result is well worth it. Going upstairs and seeing a continuous roll of photos of her being goofy is one of my favorite things to do. The images are crisp, and the touch screen is a welcome addition. So far, this frame has been a wonderful present and a way for us to remember our dog even after she has passed away.
