Is this an ettl unit?

Okay, so this question is a little more difficult to answer than it needs to be. Under the listing for a Vision 5 replacement battery, there is a question. (The Vision 5 is an ettl strobe.) However, when I went to answer the question, the product information was for a Vision 4 replacement battery. (Please note that the Vision 4 is not an ettl strobe.) In any case, purchasing this item should include a battery. not the strobe in and of itself

What am I supposed to do with it now that it's charged?

You should be able to see the hole where the charge plug is inserted if you turn it upside down.

Is it possible for the trigger to turn on both lights at the same time?

This is just a spare battery, not a complete light. I have not attempted to use the trigger with more than one of these lights.

It also charges quickly, so I won't have to wait long before I notice it's full. To get the full extended battery life, make sure to charge the battery fully and let it die completely the first time; I'm glad I have a spare now!.

It doesn't keep its power for very long

It worked fine after I got it. I noticed that I didn't get many flashes with it, and then it stopped charging after 6 months. I'm still using the original strobe that came with it from 2018. It only worked for a short period of time, so it only gets two stars.

Battery Life Is Long! This battery lasted a lot longer than I thought it would

During a long outdoor shoot in extreme heat and humidity, I used two lighting setups. I must have taken over 1000 photos and the battery was still going strong. I would strongly suggest it.

They're identical to the real thing

However, with a charger, it would have been a far better deal. Because the replacement batteries don't come with a charger, I won't be able to charge all of them at once. Before a session, I do this with ALL of my batteries. Sad.
