Without a doubt. The conventional wisdom seems to be to buy filters that correspond to the largest lens diameter you plan to use (in my case, 77mm) and then step down. I regularly reduce my weight from 77 to 49 pounds without difficulty).
What is the size of the filter and what is the lens's focal length? The size of the filter can be found in the lens's box or on the lens itself.
This essentially acts as a reducer, allowing larger filter sizes to fit into smaller diameter lenses. I do own a Tamron 24-megapixel camera. The filter on the 70mm lens is 82mm. Using this adapter, I can use the same filter on my other lenses that have smaller filter sizes. br>I hope this has been of assistance.
If the diameter of your lens exceeds the diameter of your filters, you'll need to use a step-down converter. ring that goes down Since you're going up from 56 to 82, I'd just order a 56-ounce bottle of wine. I'm giving it five stars because these rings do save money in the long run, especially when used for four different lens sizes. They do stick, as I discovered. However, this was easily remedied by the use of two inexpensive soft rubber jar grippers. They can be found in just about any house. Section devoted to the kitchen. I was able to get a better grip on each of the two rings I wanted to separate by holding one on each of them. This allowed me to rotate them for separation. The rings were not harmed in any way. When I tighten them to my lenses, I take care not to overtighten them. I've been using them with my various filters every day, and they all seem to work well together. There's nothing wrong with that for me. The rings appear to be of good quality for the purpose for which they were designed.
br>These step-up rings are well-made and simple to thread. The substance has a substantial feel to it. br>The only way I can see these rings giving you trouble is if you tighten them and then try to loosen them by bending them. br>Overall, this is a good product with a good price.
It performs as expected and, as long as you don't over-use it, it is safe to use. They can be tightened and removed with ease. They are fantastic.
This set of instructions consists of the following steps: It's a good deal to get down rings. The threads are well machined and do the job for a low price; however, because they are not beefy in construction, they must be handled with care; however, this is a benefit because they do not add much thickness to the filter and cause vignetting.
All I have to do now is set up all of my lenses with the necessary ring, then go out and take amazing photos while changing the filter from lens to lens without any issues.
These step-up rings are far superior to a single step-up ring. It's simple to remove, but it's a pain to unscrew the first time. Once removed, you're good to go.
It's okay to use on occasion. If you're looking for rings that you won't use very often and will remove from the lens/filter immediately after each use, I think these rings will suffice, and at such a low price, a set of them could be useful to have on hand just in case. Because they don't feel as smooth as the more expensive brass rings when applied or removed, I wouldn't trust them to be easy to remove if you leave them attached to a lens and/or filter in your bag for weeks. Because of their thin, light nature and lack of a good gripping surface, I expect them to be difficult to remove after long periods of use. They are, however, a very good value for the money for occasional use, and I have had no problems using them in that capacity.
They perform as advertised, and I'm currently using three of them to adapt a larger ND to a mirrorless lens, and they're holding up well. It is highly recommended.
