Product Description

By entering your model number, you can make sure that this fits.
This AODELAN wireless shutter release comes with two (2) batteries. Wireless transmission at 4GHz, with a range of up to 60 meters (200 feet). Canon TC-80N3 is no longer available for purchase.
It's possible to set the intervalometer to zero. For more precise timing control, set the timer to 1 second. This camera remote has multiple timer functions in addition to full shutter release functionality. It replaces the Canon Timer Remote Controller TC-80N3 and is ideal for time-lapse recording of blooming flowers, astrophotography, and other similar applications.
There are two types of shutters: wireless and wired. The Transmitter can automatically detect the radio signal from the receiver, making wireless timing and shutter release control much more convenient. The Transmitter can also be used as a wired controller by connecting directly to the camera.

Questions & Answers

Will this work with the video release of the Nikon Z7?

This remote is only capable of taking photos and not video recording.

Fujifilm x-series cameras are compatible. Which of the three options (Canon, Panasonic, and Sony) should I choose?

Hello, you have the option of choosing from a number of different canons. Fujifilm x-series cameras are compatible with this option. t100.

Hello, can you tell me if this will work with. Is it possible to get a Canon eos m100 camera?

Because the M100 lacks a hotshoe, which is required to mount the remote shutter release, I don't believe the Camera Remote will work with this camera.

Is the control similar to that of a Canon tc-SLR camera? Whether it's 80n3 or not, as the ad claims - For focus, half-press the shutter button. ?

Yes, press halfway to focus and completely to expose.

Camera can be triggered from any direction
5/5

I found the instructions to be far simpler than I had been led to believe. I agree that practicing in the field is necessary in order to feel at ease. I like that I didn't have to point the transmitter at the camera to get the shutter to go off. I haven't tried it, but they claim you can be up to 190 feet away from the camera and still get the shot. With this in mind, I can plan a shot that includes me or someone else without having to stand right in front of the camera. The only disadvantage I can see is that the receiver sits on top of the camera's shoe, preventing it from being equipped with a flash. I suppose you could mount the receiver or flash on a special grip attached to the camera in some inventive way. Overall, I think this is the best shutter release I've ever purchased!.

But it's not perfect
3/5

So far, the product has proven to be very effective. The lack of a hot shoe (or even a cold shoe) on top is my only complaint. You can't use a flash, a Pocket Wizard, or anything else with it if you're using it as a shutter release or intervalometer. You also won't be able to connect to the camera if you're using studio flash.

The Canon 5D MKIII does not support all functions
3/5

Only one of the features was functional: Being able to take a picture by pressing the shutter release button. None of the other functions worked, including the timer. This product was disappointing; I should have spent the money on a Canon product instead.

My name is Bitchn, and I'd like to introduce myself to you
5/5

It was well worth the money I spent on it. It has a lot of features. It does exactly what it says. For those who have had trouble using the timer, something that's becoming harder to come by on Amazon (miss the old days) what about the bulb? Nikon D5600 is the camera I use. I switched my camera to manual mode, adjusted the shutter speed with the wheel, and set the bulb setting. The shutter button on the remote, on the other hand, keeps the shutter open until I release it. The LCD screen on the remote even tells me how long my shutter has been open. addressing the vendor: STOP SHIPPING ITEMS VIA USPS; it arrived in my town, was rerouted to Manor, Texas, Austin, Texas, Houston, and then back to my town, arriving two days late. We have FEDEX and UPS here, so add a dollar to your order and ship with someone who can get the product to you. That is my only criticism. Isn't it too light for the build? and don't want to spend any money? No, it isn't and it doesn't; it's built better than other products and is lightweight without batteries; with batteries, it feels like any other similar product but performs better. It should last for a long time if you don't use it to knap arrowheads or pound nails. Is it possible to use it as a remote control? Yeah, that's right, it's a slam dunk.

This is fantastic
5/5

There are a lot of entertaining features in this game. I'm new to the DLSR hobby, having recently purchased my first decent camera in decades. I tried the Nikon Snapbridge and then a few inexpensive infrared remote shutter releases, but neither worked for me. I just got my Aodelan device (transmitter and receiver) and I'm really enjoying it. In a month, I'll be in Utah, so I'll put it to the test with some night skies.

The duration of the exposure is not consistent
3/5

The time is not consistent when this intervalometer is set to have an exposure time of more than 2 minutes. For example, if you set an exposure time of 5 minutes for 10 frames, it will do the first couple of exposures at 5 minutes before varying to 1 minute, 1/10 minute, or some other shorter exposure time. than- min I purchased this product twice and had the same problem with both of them. Instead, I went with the "JJC Wireless Intervalometer Timer Remote Control Shutter Release," which works just fine.

It has a cheap feel to it
3/5

Because it was just delivered, I have yet to use it. But. In one's hand, the remote/controller feels very cheap, and I'm sure it would crack and become useless if dropped even a short distance. When you press the buttons, they make a dull clicking sound. It has a very smooth surface finish that will easily slip from one's hands. Although the unit's functionality is excellent, the package does not feel worth nearly $60. This will most likely be returned and replaced with a model from a different manufacturer.

It's almost exactly what I was looking for
3/5

I bought this remote for my Sony RX100 IV camera so that I could use the wireless feature for studio work, but it does not work with my camera, despite the fact that it is listed as compatible on the website. I can take photos and video with the remote unit if it is plugged into the camera, but that defeats the purpose of having a WIRELESS remote-- according to the description The compatibility specifications and usage instructions should be made more clear by the vendor.
