It mostly covers the keyboard on my Dell Alienware laptop, which is 17 inches long.
Size 11. 5” x 7. The 8-inch should be adequate.

I'm not usually a negative reviewer, but I was disappointed with this product. I assumed that this cleaning cloth would cover my 15" laptop, protecting the screen from the keyboard, but it only covered half of it, leaving the screen vulnerable to scratches. This isn't even close to being a keyboard cover. I'll use it to clean my screen for the time being, but it's not what it's advertised to be.
These microfiber cloths are for use with my 13-inch Macbook Air that I purchased. When I closed my laptop, the silicone keyboard protector left smudge marks on the screen. I now close the computer with one of these cloths over the keyboard, and it works perfectly. Smudges are no longer visible. The laptop closes smoothly, and the cloth perfectly covers the keys. And when I open my computer, I have a microfiber cloth nearby to wipe the screen of my computer or smartphone if necessary.
Because there isn't much space between the closed lid and the keyboard on the MacBook Pro, you don't want anything too bulky. It's a little thinner than the ones that come with eyeglasses, but that's exactly what you need to stop the oil from leaking out and keep the lid open. It has that zig zag fabric scissor cut around the edges, but it covers the keyboard and that's all you need. Excellent value for money. It also doesn't wake up the Mac by moving or pressing on the keys, which is ideal.
Laptop with a screen size of 5 inches When I closed my laptop, I wanted a microfiber cloth to use as a keyboard cover to keep the screen from getting dirty and scuffed from contact with the keys (or, rather, any more than it already is). While it is possible to purchase inexpensive cloths in bulk, they always come in the same sizes, which are roughly square and either too small or far too large for this purpose. br>br>This item is extremely expensive for a single piece, but the size and shape are ideal, so I went ahead and purchased it. It completely covers the keys, leaving only a small gap at the computer's edge. Because the keyboard is likely to be the same size, but with a larger border area, I believe it would work for most 13-inch laptops as well. It'll most likely be a tad too big for 11-year-olds. I've only had mine for a couple weeks, but the quality appears to be fine as far as I can tell. br>br>I've only had mine for a couple weeks, but the quality appears to be fine as far as I can tell. br>br>I've only had mine for a couple weeks, but the quality appears to be fine as far as I can tell. br>br>Of course, if you're on a tight budget, you could just buy a pack of large square microfiber cloths and cut one to size.
I had the screen replaced due to other issues, and I decided to add keyboard protection when the lid was closed. This protection appears to be provided by the Kuzy Microfiber Keyboard Cover Cloth. It's essentially a very large cloth made of the same material as the small eyeglass cleaning cloths. I've only had the cover cloth for a few weeks, but it appears that it will protect the keyboard from damage. When the cloth is in place, neither my 2016 MacBook Pro nor my 2019 MacBook Pro 16 inch have any issues with the top cover closing. My four-star rating is due to the fact that I would like the cloth to be about one inch wider in order to ensure that the keyboard is completely covered before closing the laptop lid.
okay. The size is perfect. It's a decent enough product overall, except there's nothing to keep the edges from fraying! (read the damn description and MEASURE before you buy) The edges are fraying and the product is unraveling itself after only a month or so of daily use. I ended up buying a used car instead of a new one. Another brand's woven version.
I was furious because when I closed and transported both of my MacBook Pros in my backpack, fingerprints transferred and left marks on the screens. It was beginning to etch itself into my screens. br>br>Well, with my Kuzy, that was the end of it. It covers the entire keyboard on my 15" MacBook Pro, and after a few days of carrying it around in my bag, it cleaned all of the smudges from my screen, making it look brand new. I was too lazy to clean the screen before putting my Kuzy down, so it took care of itself. br>br>Now that I have a wireless keyboard, I keep it on my keyboard line in the picture during the day when I am at my desk at work, and it fits nicely in the screen when I close it. I simply roll it up and place it above my keyboard when I go home or to client sites. br>br>I've only had it for a few weeks, but it appears to be sturdy enough to last me several years.
When the lid is closed on my 16" MacBook Pro, I bought these to place between the screen and keyboard. The model is important because the sheets are only big enough to cover the keyboard and two-thirds of the touchpad, but they're still plenty to keep the screen clean and free of oil and dirt from the keys. This shouldn't be an issue for the smaller models. br>br>I wipe the keyboard with one side and wipe the screen with the other. The embossed logo on the corner helps you distinguish between the sides of the cloth, which is useful. br>br>Overall, a nice cleaning/protecting cloth for a macbook, which has a very shiny screen that can be difficult to clean if finger grease gets on it. These do a good job of preventing grease transfer from the keyboard when the lid is closed, as well as wiping away any grease or liquid you might accidentally get on your screen.
