Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use this as a turkey baster as well? Also, instead of purchasing this, can I use my existing turkey baster?

A) Only if you're trying to clean your turkey of dust; B) Only if turkey juice is being used to bast the camera sensor.

Which size should I get: small, medium, or large? or are you looking for something big? All I want to do now is clean my Nikon D3200. ?

I'm not sure if your camera has a FF sensor, but when I dust it, I like to move the most air across it as possible. Go big, in my opinion.

Is there enough air movement here to keep dust off laptop keyboards?

To clean dust from keyboards, I prefer to use compressed air, which I do. The Giottas lacks the necessary strength because the pressure could cause the camera's sensor to malfunction.

Which size do you think a woman's smaller hand should be?

My hands are small, and it appears to be a good fit for them. The package does not specify a size.

It also suckers air from the front
3/5

Overpriced and overrated in my opinion. I spent more money on a simple blower because I wanted one that didn't suck air back from the front nozzle. That's exactly what this one does. If you blow air out and then cover the back nozzle with your finger, it will suck air from the front. Regular use will of course suck 90% from back nozzle agreed, but that 2010% will actually suck dust in trust me and in a couple of years will start throwing it out. If it can't have two one-way valves, I'm not sure why it costs so much. Even if the back is not blocked, air flowing inside from the front can be clearly heard if it is heard close to the ear. These businesses profit from you buying a $5 item for $15. Aside from that, the quality of the construction was excellent.

Sony a7iii Required Kit My Sony a7iii began to take pictures with large dust spots in the sky
5/5

I tried the onboard cleaning option a few times, and it helped with a few small ones, but four large spots remained, necessitating a lot of photoshop work to clean up the photos. I did a spot test under a clear sky and saw them. When I got home, I picked it up and followed the camera's cleaning instructions (lens off, tilt downward, spray air carefully into the body at the sensor). Still spots after self-cleaning. I used this blower and put it to the test — - THERE WILL BE NO MORE SPOTS. This is something I'd consider a must-have accessory for Sony mirrorless cameras —- With my Canon DSLR, I never had this problem because the auto-focus was always on. It worked like a charm when I used clean. The greatest investment I've ever made!.

It could be useful in some situations
3/5

I bought it because I've been having a lot of sensor dust issues lately. After having my sensor cleaned by a professional, spots began to appear again three weeks later. It appears that they are crusted on the sensor, as air did nothing to help. Because I only changed lenses twice inside the house, there could be something strange going on. I had no problems using a camera for years, even after changing lenses frequently. The air blower, however, was completely ineffective in my situation. It could work well for light dust that isn't crusted.

It's a good idea to wear glasses with it
5/5

I wear a pair of glasses that have been specially treated. I've discovered the perfect cleaning solution and micro-fiber cloth. clothing made of fibers However, I begin by blowing any particles from the glasses with this. This, I believe, will prevent me from grinding any particles into the glass as I wipe it. Is this of any assistance? Probably. For as long as I can remember, my lens has been scratch-free. It's well worth the extra few seconds to incorporate this into my cleaning routine.

The most effective sensor cleaner and blower
5/5

I've been using this rocket blower for over 6 years and have also tested a variety of other blowers. The rocket blower is so effective that I've never needed a professional cleaning on any of my Canon 20D, 30D, or 40D cameras. This tool allows you to stay on top of dust by locking your mirror the moment a speck appears on your images. Repeat this step until the sensor is dust-free (camera opening facing down, rocket facing upwards, (this way specks of dust fall out of the camera when they become dislodged)). br>br>I've discovered that the more dust you have, the more difficult it is to get rid of it, so allowing dust to accumulate only makes cleaning more difficult. The rocket allows you to stay one step ahead of the competition and requires no new parts or chemical refills. br>br>absolutely get the medium-sized one; the small one has a little less air pressure/flow, which means you'll have to clean it over and over until it finally gets the dust off. The medium-sized one produces a decent, but not excessively powerful, gust of air. The larger one has never been put to the test. br>br>Never use compressed air from a compressor (unless it's been regulated down for in-camera use and moisture filtered) or a spray can on your camera because it can damage it in a variety of ways. br>br>I store my rocket in a zip lock bag to prevent dust from collecting on it and getting into my camera. br>br>Never touch the rocket to any part of your camera's internals, never leave the camera "open" for longer than necessary, always cover the camera with a cap or lenses, and I never leave any of my cameras "open" for more than 15 minutes. 30 seconds, because the longer it is open, the more dust is likely to accumulate inside.

Giottos has a reputation for producing high-quality items
5/5

For my camera sensors, this is ideal! This is a must-have for keeping dust off your camera's sensors; it's well-designed, has plenty of air, and is completely safe to use. This was purchased for use with my Panasonic Micro 4/3 cameras. I'm always cautious when changing lenses, but dust on the sensor surface is unavoidable, so having this in my camera bag is a must. Using it on a regular basis keeps my sensors dust-free, so I've never needed to use a "Wet Swab" system, which I also own. That's something I keep in case the sensor gets clogged with something stubborn.

When switching lenses on my DSLR, this is a helpful tool
5/5

When switching lenses on my Nikon D3300, this has proven to be an invaluable tool. During switches, I always give my sensor and lens a quick "puff" of air. It's very light, but it's a lot bigger than the Amazon image suggests. To give you a better idea of its size, I've attached a photo of it next to my Nikon D3300.

It's a must-have item that you should bring with you when you leave the house
5/5

This is a must-have item for any traveling professional photographer. Cleaning a modern sensor in this manner is the safest method available. br>With a small, concentrated puff of air and no harmful propellant, it removes debris in seconds. br>The air blaster's price, shape, and design make it an excellent choice for cleaning sensors while on the road, at any time and in any location. It's made of long-lasting materials that are simple to keep clean. It is available in three sizes to fit most camera bags.
