It's just a bulb, similar to baby bulbs or a puff of air from your mouth. You're only paying for a cute design and a quick rebound, not for a strong puff of air that comes close to replacing compressed cans. br>br>I'd return it, but the cost of my time and all the other pieces involved in returning a $12 item to Amazon isn't worth it if you care about America's resources and carbon footprints.
(I mean, literally!) This Rocket Air Blaster is a one-of-a-kind air blaster that gets the job done! It literally blows almost all dust off your camera, lenses, backpack, and car dashboard, and it easily removes most dust, lint, and hair. It's simple and effective. br>br> The majority of the blowers/brushes that come with a camera cleaning kit simply do not have enough force to blow much dust away from your gear. With each squeeze, they also suck air (and dust) back into the air reservoir. In contrast, the Rocket Blaster only blows air in one direction. It draws air in through the back of the rocket, so when the 'bulb' refills with air, it doesn't suck back in the dust; instead, it simply blows off your gear. br>br>An elegantly designed tool with a simple interface. It is made of heavy-duty materials. The air blast actually works, and it's so well made that it should last a long time! br>br> I tell all of my photographer friends about them, as well as the photography students I work with on a regular basis. It's something I'd recommend to YOU, as well!.
SLR cameras with a frame - Nikon D700 camera Sony Alpha 7r II (a mirrorless camera) fewer DSLR cameras) I've had great success using this blower to clean both cameras' CMOS sensors and chambers. It's also great for cleaning the backs of lenses, which I despise because I hate spots in my photos! Contaminants are no longer present in my cameras as a result of this procedure. Granted, I've had to use this three or four times to get a stubborn spot to come out, but it's always worked for me. Because it does not scratch, it is a safer alternative to contact cleaning. br>br>I've read the reviews from people who use it to blow dust off of keyboards and other electronic devices. That's not what this blower was made for. It's a camera cleaning tool. I've also seen people walking around with DSLR cameras hung around their necks with no lenses attached, rummaging through their camera bags for the correct lens. They keep the lenses in their bags without the caps on both ends. These individuals will have a lot of "dirty" photos. Cleaning the CMOS and chamber of their cameras will be difficult under these circumstances. Always store your lenses with caps on both ends and don't expose the chamber of the camera for any longer than is necessary. Otherwise, having this kind of camera is pointless, and cleaning it with this blower will almost certainly fail.
Pros: When compared to compressed air cans, this item is reusable, saving you money. The air pressure that comes out can be controlled. Because the majority of it is rubber, ESD damage is unlikely. The nozzle can be bent to fit into awkward spaces. Due to its small size, it is very easy to transport. So that the dust does not get sucked back in, air is drawn in from the bottom of the rocket. It does not freeze objects or emit poisonous gas when held upside down. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. When compared to a micro-pressure, you don't get nearly as much pressure. A vacuum cleaner or a can of compressed air will suffice. It can be a little annoying because of the noise it makes. If you use it frequently (or have arthritis), it can wear out your hands. It would be nice to be able to change the nozzles so that the pressure of the air coming out could be adjusted. br>br>Overall, I really like it! It saves me money and makes me happy to use it. On the first day of work, I got a little carried away. After I had used it for a while, everyone at work started using it: we used it on keyboards, computer monitors, cell phones (power ports), inside and outside of computers, dusty areas of our desks, and the heat outlets on some laptops. We figured we'd need a higher pressure air for a keyboard, so it worked great in all other areas. br>br>I hope you like the video I uploaded. Enjoy!.
This Giottos air blaster is one of those tools that you buy once and use for everything (camera cleaning, laptop and keyboard dust cleaning, smart phones, etc. ) for the rest of your life. I got it in red, which stands out against the standard black. It isn't the most powerful for blowing air pressure in terms of functionality, but it does the job well enough because it isn't electronic or battery-powered. To be honest, you can't go wrong with this purchase.
This is an excellent product that performs admirably. The only issue is that they use scented baby powder in the manufacturing process. It's terrible if you have a sensitive nose like me! To make it acceptable, I disassembled it and washed it 20 times. I'm not sure why they don't just use non-scented materials when making them. br>Recent changes: The smell of baby powder returned, and no amount of washing was able to remove it. I'm going to give it a one-star rating. What a squander of resources, both time and money!.
Instead of buying a bunch of canned air, I bought this to clean up the wood dust in and around my shop. So far, it has performed admirably and has already paid for itself. Yes, the air isn't as powerful as canned air, but give it a squeeze or two and it'll do the job, and you'll feel good about saving the environment.
