My Canon 5D Mark II had a major problem with dust and debris on the sensor. I ordered this kit (which included the cleaning solution) and can now shoot at any f stop without having to worry about the photos being unusable (yes, the mess was so bad that even using my well-known Adobe programs would have taken far too long to clean up, especially at f/22). I'd tried cleaning the sensor a few times before, but I didn't have any cleaning fluid on hand, and I was a little hesitant to use anything liquid. After doing some research, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. Just a word of caution. br>br> I'll save the swabs included in this kit for my 7D II because they're designed for crop factor cameras. Instead, I used some full frame swabs that I had on hand. When it comes to swabs, I've found that bending the stems before trying to swab the sensor makes them work better. There's a much lower risk of scratching or breaking the sensor by bending the swab while it's on it. br>br>I'm also fond of the small case. It's a great way to keep everything in one place and organized. I'm notorious for misplacing small camera accessories, which is why I'm glad this set included a lens pen brush. I used to have a bigger one, but now that I need it, I have no idea where it is. br>br>Interesting remark. Photos appear to be much better (I tested with a blue sky), but when I look through the viewfinder, all of the "stuff" I saw is still visible (including what appears to be a dead ant). Please do not inquire. I'm completely oblivious to the situation. LOL), but if that's the case, don't worry about it because it's not visible in the photos. It's just a pain to look at in the viewfinder. br>br>It appears that this east coast gal will have to adjust to the amount of dust in the desert and how it pervades everything. I'm thinking about keeping my raincoat (camera version) with me at all times. br>br>I am very happy with this small set and am glad I ordered it. And I'm pleased to report that I'm no longer afraid to tamper with the most crucial component of my expensive cameras.

First and foremost, do not be concerned about cleaning your own sensor. It's remarkably simple, and this kit includes a good instruction sheet, as well as a plethora of YouTube videos on the subject. The Altura Photo Professional Cleaning Kit, on the other hand, was precisely what I required. I use a Sony Alpha77ii with an APS-C sensor to capture my images. I had noticed that the quality of the photos taken with the C sensor was deteriorating. The self- The cleaning function was useful, but not sufficient. When I went to have it cleaned at a local shop, they wanted almost $100 for the sensor to be cleaned, so I laughed and ordered this kit. It comes equipped with everything you could possibly require, including a filter rocket. The sensor swabs, which appear to be well-made, and the solution were the main draws for me. The sensor cleaning took me less than 5 minutes, and the photos are now back to their original quality. br>br>My advice for using the kit is to use caution when spraying (you don't want streaks) and to be prepared to use two swabs, one wet and one dry, if you use too much spray. I wish Altura Photo sold the swabs separately because the solution is enough to last me until I die, but there are only 6 swabs. I chose this kit over swabs from another manufacturer because I needed a new blower, and having an extra lens pen is always useful.

It was dirtier than I had anticipated after two years of use, one of which was spent in a desert. It took four swabs to restore it to its former glory, but the procedure is relatively painless, and Digital Goja has video instructions on YouTube to walk you through the process. The ability to clean the sensor myself and avoid paying four or five times the price of the kit would have been a great deal in and of itself, but the added items included the soft brush, lens tissue, cleaning fluid, micro-fiber cloth, and micro-fiber cloth. The addition of a fiber cloth and blower, as well as a rubber fingerprint eraser, has given me a whole new level of assurance in keeping my equipment clean. I should've bought it on the same day as my camera. The photos should give you a good idea of how well the sensor cleaning worked. If you require a cleaning kit for your camera, look no further than the products offered by this company.

I purchased it after discovering that my sensor had three spots on it that only I could see. br>After a closer look and being told to photoshop the image to increase contrast and lower white and highlight levels, I discovered hundreds of spots. The upper left hand corner is where you'll find the majority of it. br>I got this the other day and it took me less than two minutes to complete. I used very little to no liquid while watching the YouTube video they recommended, and I am very pleased with the results, despite the fact that I counted about 11 hard to see spots. This was used on a Nikon D90 that I purchased in 2012 and hadn't been cleaned until recently. br>Excellent product, and I really liked the case it came in. I figured I'd put the stuff it came with somewhere else and use the case to carry batteries, cards, adapters, and other small items. sItems from the mall that I don't want to misplace.
