All of my lenses have filters, and I clean and smudge them with Altura lens tissue. The lens tissue can also be used to clean the back screens and eyepiece lenses. I've used them on camera lenses as well as a variety of screens - cellular phones, desktop computers, and laptop computers - as well as a pair of spectacles I've never tried them on a projector, but I imagine they'd work well. This is a fantastic product, and I've ordered it several times.
The website does not state whether or not this is true. To be safe, use the softer side, and always use a lens brush to remove fine particles before using the tissue, as well as cleaning solution.
The Altura lens tissue is lint-free, which is exactly what it should be. According to what I've read, dslr sensors are delicate and should be cleaned with a soft brush before being blown out. Use the sensor cleaning feature on your camera if it is available. br>I hope that this information is useful.

I cleaned the second pair of lenses, and they were perfect. I was using Zeiss glass cleaner, which did a mediocre job and left streaks (like a white mist in the lens) every time. With this lens paper, I switched to 70% alcohol and followed up immediately with the microfiber supplied in this kit. I had two oil-streaked lenses that I couldn't get to work again. With a flashlight, I examine them and find them to be in excellent condition, with no streaks or scratches. Who knows, maybe zeiss glass cleaner is just for the birds. Or maybe I just lack the necessary skills, but this kit did exactly what I needed and I will most likely purchase it again.
For high-end lenses, no way. These are fine for cleaning screens and camera surfaces, but I'm not a fan of using them on lenses. br>I suppose if you don't bend them and just drag them over a lens cleaning fluid-soaked surface, they'll be fine (but only just). These papers are useless for most lenses with a steep curvature because they form acute corners when folded or bent to fit into crevices. br>br>It's possible to clean lenses in a more effective way.
When compared to this, older lens tissue, such as Kodak, looked like cobwebs. These appear to be gentle enough that they will cause no harm, which is a good thing. However, unlike cobwebs, it isn't wispy enough to roll and tear into a soft "brush. " In addition, it is not particularly absorbent. So, it's not bad, but it's not fantastic. It's convenient that they don't require any glue. Do they not scatter out of the pack because they are bound in a pad?.
Most retail chains sell only camera cleaning kits, which is great if you need all of the kit components. I do not. These Altura lens cleaning tissues were a pleasant surprise when I discovered them on Amazon. The sheets come in booklets that are small enough to fit into my camera bag's side pocket. The sheets themselves are satisfyingly large, unlike others I've purchased in the past, and the product's quality is excellent; it will keep my lenses free of smudges and fingerprints during all of my upcoming travels. This is a fantastic product that I wholeheartedly recommend!.
They're exactly what I'm looking for when it comes to cleaning my camera lenses, and they're also compatible with my glasses. They could be a little wider, but aside from that, you won't find a better deal anywhere. Also included is a microfiber lens cloth, which is a nice little bonus. If I had another 1/2 star to give this product, I would.
Nice lens cleaning tissue, nice booklet, good quality and large size tissues, should last a long time, and because they're disposable, there's no risk of using a dirty cloth to clean your lens.
I used to have a different brand of lens tisse that was very soft and effective, but this one feels hard and brittle. It is ineffective at cleaning lenses.
When it comes to cleaning your camera lens, this product is the best. It's particularly useful when dust or fingerprints get on the lens. This is a product that I would strongly recommend to anyone.
