The cassette is black, but the package is blue. The quality is of a 60 minute recording.
Whether or not there is a difference is not apparent to me. I have used the dv60prl for years, both for SD and HD Video cameras, and this tape has always worked well for me.
This question is not answered to my knowledge.
Yes, I believe the Sony VX1000 used MiniDV tapes, but please confirm that before you buy one.

Truthfully, I had no intention of writing this review because it is just a simple tape that one inserts into a camcorder to record video and no problems are encountered.
I have been ordering this brand, and so far there have been no problems with playing back or recoding anything. With HDV and HDR-compatible equipment, I record We have used the FX7 camcorder and never had a problem with it. keep more than 20 original tapes because I prefer to keep everything original. You may not think it is much, but I find it to be a lot. It is possible for me to play back tapes from 2 to 5 It has always worked great since I bought it three years ago. In one of the reviews, I noticed that a person mentioned you shouldn't In the past, I have used both these and Maxell cameras and one time my camcorder turned off due to a "dirty head" warning. This was extremely frustrating to me because I had just finished taking photos for a wedding and I had no way to rewind the events I found a more convenient time to produce it. Once I got it working again, it was recorded. Anyhow, the reason I said that short story is because I learned my lesson about using different brands, and since I have never had any problems with this tape, I plan to stick with it when I run out because it is a good one. In addition, when recording HDV, sometimes you can get short freezes. I love the fact that it even says in my camera manual that it's common with tv recording (I know, VERY rare), but these are an extremely rare breed. I'll conclude by saying this. Product you can rely on, I will buy more when I need it again.
Several video techs say that if you use one brand of tape in a video recorder, then you should never use another brand as the oil and metals used in the other brand may not match. It is true that I do not know if that is true, but what I am sure of is that they are great tapes, and I would recommend them to anyone who uses a tape It is common for me to use videotape a lot when I shoot video. It is not uncommon for me to use 20+ tapes a week when I am busy. The only time I reuse them is when they break, so keeping cost low and finding them locally is important. Originally, I got these tapes at Costco when I had no HD video camera, so I have them around while I need to do some research. My heart beats fast when I use these tapes (I have many thousand of them and I have never had a problem with a single one). In order to be able to use HD 1080p, I started doing a lot of research on the best type of video Obviously, these tapes were a great tool for many people. Therefore, I continued to use these tapes for 1080p and it was great. Since I get them on Monday morning using Amazon prime, I not only get them on Tuesday, but they cost just a few dollars, too. *Fr *Gr It works with my professional Sony gear and at a great price. It is excellent in all aspects. The cons are There are none.
The only tapes my son will listen to on his Sony VX1000 are these. The last few years, we have consistently ordered them from them, and they have never disappointed. You know you have found something that works when you do. Continue to work on You do get what you pay for, but it is a little pricey. In order to capture moments after which you will never get another chance to film, you need a tape that you can rely on completely. A copy of that tape can be found here.
First of all, I am a big Amazon fan, and the tapes were delivered on time. Although they are "Premium," out of the five tapes I have ordered, this is my least favorite out of the five There were two shows that I recorded last weekend, but the last one was not available. 45 appeared on the tape as follows The tape was filmed for a few minutes, but it contained nothing. Obviously, I put one of the other tapes back into the camera to make sure that it was still working, and it was. The last tape did not have anything on it (
These things happen and I just ordered another 10 pack because they are normally not problematic. The tech industry is prone to glitches, I guess.
Somehow, all of these tapes have been shortened by two minutes compared to the ones I usually receive from Sony when I order DVMs. In general, a camera will read 61 or 62 minutes on the time code but actually have a little extra time left so you will get about 61 It wouldn't be a problem in general, but I'm taping a one hour segment, and I can't be sure if the tape will last an hour if the timecode reads 58 minutes, so I'm kind of stuck for now. While I'm not sure if the manufacturer is attempting to save money by cutting off two minutes of tape, in terms of my needs it causes me to have trouble.
They are of good quality and reasonably priced. Other brands (JVC, Panasonic, etc. ) also worked for us but this one had the best luck and fewer drop-outs The Sony tapes have been thrown out. Other products might be cheaper, but it's simply not worth the risk of losing a critical shot for a client because the tape was cut cheaply. Additionally, because of the fake HD tapes on eBay, you should be careful before purchasing "premium" HD tapes. A few of those may be counterfeit, since they were terrible to purchase (kept getting error messages on the camera, saying there was a problem with the tape). The Sony tapes were what we would turn to when searching for the information. Compared to our more expensive ones, those work as well as the cheaper ones in capturing HD. Our order was turned around quickly by this vendor, and the tape stock seems to be much better than expected.
Since I have worked in the TV industry for my entire career, Sony has been the only professional camera I’ve ever used. My preference for Sony quality was firmly established long ago. I have tried all kinds of mini DV cassettes, and I feel Sony is the very best! It has often been the case that I had dropouts and glitches and sometimes the other brand's cam would not recognize it, or the tracking would be bad, and the camera would jam, and it would create all sorts In this regard, Maxwell cassettes are the worst, while Panasonic cassettes aren't any I consider Sony's Premium Mini DV cassettes the best cassettes on the market today The price is also great. I recommend this.
