As you can see from the picture, our listing is for brand new factory sealed tapes in original HP packaging. Please note there are no aftermarket brown boxes (if that makes sense) Regards

It is my assumption that you are referring to Barcode labels that do not come with the tapes and not generic labels that do. I ordered the "LTO5 Ultrium Rw Label Pack" from Amazon to order the bar code labels separately.

Is it possible to use these tapes with What tape drive do you have?

It is necessary to have LTO4 tape, c7974a

What are the chances of these tapes already having barcodes attached?

There are actually ten tapes in this pack (as stated) and they work very well. In my opinion, these are great value items based on the reviews I have seen. It's been years since I have encountered problems with any of my tapes, and all of them are still working fine.

The price was almost half of what you would pay at a computer store. I found this item hard to find, and these were a great deal. As part of my job, I sometimes need HP data tapes, so finding them at this price was a blessing in disguise. Purchase will be made again without a doubt.

tapes was a dud, which is a real shame when you spend so much money on it

A poor tape on the recorder is very disappointing when you have spent so much, and it makes you nervous about public archives you are entrusting to them.

I don't like the feel of the jewel cases and they are creepy

The tapes feel cheaper than the ulrium4s I had previously and virtually every jewel case had either come apart completely at the fold or was hanging, nearly ready to fall out. We had to gaffer tape them immediately after they arrived in the mail.
