Questions & Answers

What is the erasability of the data? Do I have the option of overwriting what I Is it likely that the second recording will be affected if the answer is yes?

There are old answers to this old question. On Windows 10, you can edit your content (at least). If you first insert the CD into your CD drive, you will have the option to choose between using it as a CD or a USB drive. You can edit (add, modify, delete) files from USB devices if you select them. I saved an MP4 file and a text file and deleted the text file as a test. I had no issues. The text file in question was added and its contents modified, after which I renamed it (same name as before). I have no problem with that. Another bonus is that the MP4 file was read and played off this disk as well. It behaved just as I'd imagine it would (just as if it were on a USB drive). There is a limit to how many times you can write to a disk.

What should I do if I want to play the music burned on these on a common CD ?

I have been able to play cd music as well as mp3 music discs that were burned onto these discs. It has never failed to burn these discs at 40X on my DVD/CD burner.

Do you have the capability of adding essays to ?

There is an option for writing data files to the disc (e. Documents or text files), as well as computer files or music recordings,

The discs appear to be manufactured in the United States. Where are they manufactured?

Since 2002, CMC Magnetics has been making these discs. The company now owns the brand, which has been made for many years.

Selected User Reviews For Verbatim CD-R 700MB 80 Minute 52x Recordable Disc - 10 Pack Bulk Box

We are mixing up a mixtape! I am not the owner of that! A batch of 100 verbatim excerpts just came through and I enjoyed them There is not a single poor disc in this collection! A new batch of 100 has been ordered! A large collection of my CDs is on hand
5/5

Extensive is the word I use. There are a lot of "BEST OF" compilations, MIXES & more I do It is necessary to burn CD copies of my collection to use in the car, since car players devour CDs like Jeffery Dahmer ate fingers and toes There are a lot of them that I read. In addition, they're cheap, so I'll throw them around like a Frisbee. Over the years, Verbatims has been a valuable tool for me. I've had no problems with them. They sound amazing and burn right every time. There is one thing I would like to say about the people experiencing problems. The key to using your software is to learn how it works. There are two things I want to tell you. Burn your media with Apple's iTunes and never with Windows Media Player. There is no way to fix it. You can burn CDs and DVDs with third party The software I use is freeware from Ashampoo. While it doesn't have a lot of features, it still The app does a good job at it. It is impossible to beat Verbatims for the price! You have to check them out! I have to go. To demonstrate a sound system, I am burning a Lover's Rock Reggae MIX that has a lot of bottom. It's time for me to leave!.

DIY projects are a breeze with this product

I have no idea how they sound or how good they are. It makes me ashamed to admit that I bought them with the intent of cutting them up to use for my craft I love how reflective the colors are. This book is well worth the price. It's hilarious, lol.

The CDs that you're about to receive These Rs last for a long time! In advance of my long explanation, let me say that the Verbatim CD-ROM contains the following There is no CD-R that has a longer life than an R I have never used anything quite like this
5/5

As far as CD-ROMs are concerned As far as Rs are concerned, longevity is a main concern. One of the major problems is that some CDs don't play A CD starts to develop "CD rot" after a while. When this happens, there is an ultra-violet attack. When a disc starts to corrode, the reflective layer (usually aluminum), where the audio or other data is stored, oxidizes (rusts). This usually occurs due to a manufacturing defect or poor handling. There is consequently a deterioration in the sound quality, starting as some very slight audible clicks that gradually become louder and more frequent over time. It won't be long until the disc can no longer be played due to rot. As an audio engineer, I used to work in the finance industry. In the studio where I worked, we tried various brands of CDs All types of products are available, from the smallest to the largest. Each one of them had a different location. My goal is to not name names, but sometimes some of the ones you would least expect have survived (like Office Depot), while others have underperformed CDs at a reasonable price Two years later, the Rs had rotted. A majority of the world's A CD-ROM named after a brand According to our study, the Rs we tried had an overall survival rate of about 85/15. Verbatim in particular became an essential part of our lives. There are still a few audio discs made with Verbatim CDs in my collection I still have some R from 18 years ago that play very fine. Only a few I had that bit the dust, but hey, I only have that many. You got a good ratio there. Some of them may have been due to a manufacturing error on a single disc in a batch, or to me accidentally dropping the disc. The brand I always rely on is Verbatim.

There is no room for such thinness! There are two types of CDs standard and deluxe
3/5

This 20 mm thick piece of steel is made from steel. Below are 1 and 2. Do not work. They are 10 mm thick and are not usable. Verbatim CDr has had mixed results for me in the past, but I decided to give them one more try because of the low price. Unfortunately, this is yet another spindle of Verbatim garbage. It would not burn the three first off the top. Message
Message
Update In the meantime, the entire spindle has been thrown away. My attempts to burn one took months of trying and occasionally I would get one. It would not be possible for them to play as a team. A goodwill store recently sold me a spindle of old Memorex CDs on half price. As I cleaned off the sticky stuff, discarded the ones that were hopelessly stuck together, and discarded the ones that were actually kiddie movies, I threw them out. All the rest worked without a hitch. As I inspected the Verbatim CDs to figure out why they wouldn't work, I noticed they felt thin and My first step was to measure them. That's fine with me. The Verbatim CDs I have are all 1 if I used my digital calipers they would all be 1. The thickness of the film is 1mm. According to the CD standard, there should be one CD per package. There are 2 millimeters between each surface. You can find out more by looking Despite being scratch-resistant, the data on a CD is not on it (that's why it is able to survive such an extensive amount of physical damage). A very specific depth exists inside the clear plastic that is targeted by the lasers used to write and read data on CDs. The laser will not be able to write data to the correct depth if the disk has the wrong thickness. The laser on the other machine is unable to find and read the data of the CD if you insert it in another machine. There is no point in spending time or money on these. is selling subpar junk and should be ashamed of itself! It should no longer be sold on Amazon.

The rabbits are getting out - I'm hunting "eh uh" slow
5/5

It is common for people to complain about discs being defective when they are To achieve the best results when you burn a CD or other optical media, set the burning speed as low as possible. In Windows media player, you can do this, or if you prefer a free tool, "ImgBurn". It is an open source program that works really good & comes with some helpful features The disc is easy to understand. I have no complaints. It was a burning problem, but I switched to another machine. This told me that the problem wasn't with the disc, but with that particular drive. Just a friendly hint, take.

Another reason for returning instead of the usual one
3/5

It was my intention to buy these Generics may not seem like much, but they certainly differ from each other Is it a blank CD from a particular brand? My surprise was that I found out. . . but not what I expected. It appears that some people were experiencing problems with their CDs not working at all. The following explanation explains why I couldn't get it to I had just loaded the CD into the computer to record when I heard a horribly loud scraping noise, so I immediately turned off the computer. My Macbook was making a strange type of noise. I hadn't heard it before and thought it might probably be on its last (recording) legs. In any case, I immediately ejected the CD and inserted another As it turned out, it recorded just fine. The noise occurred again on the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth CDs, but the seventh CD, which I had previously dated, was fine. I checked the name of the CD, and it corresponded with what I had titled it. In contrast to the name-brand ones I had been using, these Verbatims are lighter in weight, so I switched over to them instead. CD's manufactured by a specific brand. I simply don't like how light they are For my laptop to properly sit and record, I need to weigh about 110 pounds. Since then, I've bought some better-quality shoes The ones I use are brand ones, and I have never encountered any That's it for this story. I had to go home.
