The CDs I burn are much better than those I print and paste We have been purchasing the light scribe discs for several years to enable light scribe of R's label. In the past, major office supply chains carried them readily. However, nowadays they are hard to find as rare as a certain species of prehistoric bird. This led me to find these on Amazon, so I was thrilled. are good at what they do Imagery that is clear and the sound is well transferred. The law of supply and demand strikes again, despite the price reduction. It seems that the price is almost prohibitive despite the reduction.
We wanted the Lightscribe CDs, so the price is a bit high for just 20 The CDs were created using my existing burner with a Lightscribe feature, which allowed us to create semi-professional looking covers. This was worth it to us, and I'm sure the higher price is due to the supply of these items being limited. CDs don't seem to be used very often these days.
Out of a pack of 20 Memorex, two were working. Those that did not work with my Lightscribe burner weren't compatible. As other reviewers have noted, I received the following error message There was no recognition of the Lightscribe disc. It feels as though they have a film on them that sometimes (50/50 chance) you can buff off, but it's very I have some Philips Lightscribe discs that I always use and they work well every time. I dislike this product.
I'm able to work with the Lightscribe CD It is described in the description.
I like it even though it's ancient technology. I have both the Simple Labeler and LaCie label burning software installed on my Ubuntu Studio. For the graphics, I like to use the GIMP to craft them into JPEG files in black and white. These can be easily imported into Microsoft Word and burned to My favorite part about the finished product is how professional it looks.
There are some issues with the CD. It is too thin and the lightscribe labels wear.
It is by far a better product than HP discs. I decided to try Memorex because HP discs will fade over time and don't burn very dark, but hey. The least they can do is burn! Here's what I have to say. The other reviews on this product indicate that you shouldn't buy it.
The product is of high quality and delivered on time.
