Turn the spindle to the left and unscrew the top. Hold the bottom of the spindle and get the top. A small twist is seen at the end of the spindle, where the strings wind off. I hope you find this helpful.
Memorex CDs are the ones I use Both images and music can be created with R. This isn't the first time I've had a problem. Since I do not overburn my disks in order to use all the space, I am unsure if that would cause problems.
I don't think this is a foolish In the video, the side that has writing is the "up" side. The writing should be on the same side as the "up" side of your drive where it says "DVD" or whatever. The writing should be on the same side as the left edge of the desktop, so there is no "up" and I often put a disc in backward. Simply put the blank side of the disk toward the eject button and you should be good to go.

For example, I use them to backup my CD collection, for a car copy, etc. I bought 100 of them verbatim, and the first few off of the stack worked fine, but then I used my computer several months later, and it kept telling me that I needed blank CDs. It had only been a few months since my computer was purchased, so I thought something was wrong with it. My experience was the same on another computer as well. It worked for me after my son gave me a disc from his collection. When I saw it, I thought, "Why?"? Here is a stack of 100 that I just bought. They didn't work for me, even after I went through them all. The situation left me in a state of confusion. My favorite brand of toothpaste was ordered again because I always used it. In addition to that, neither worked. This is my first set of memorex, and so far I am happy with them. According to the reviews, I don't understand why this seems to be happening to so many people. The memorex has so far proven to be a very good product. It'll be the first time I have to order more, so I hope they work as well as the first set.
When it comes to writable discs, I find memorex to have some of the best ones There is no Sony or Phillips brand, but the low failure rate is among the lowest I've ever seen. have made backup copies of broken/heavily scratched PlayStation classics (RIP Crash Bash and Spyro 2) and these burned at 4x speed work like a charm, which is even more impressive considering PS1 hardware is notoriously picky towards My 8x burns (one of my cheaper writers works only at 8x) work fantastically and are even more durable than I expected! I find direct disc copies of music to work best with third party players, as some players are picky about direct disc copies. It still reads 107 tracks on an old MP3 disc from 2006 that is dinged and lightly scratched but is dinged and lightly surface-scratched. The following typos have been corrected The spring was just around the corner on June 1.
Therefore, the item was damaged upon arrival. In addition to being damaged in transit, other reviewers have noted the packaging breaking during shipping. In the end, the CDs were scattered on both sides of In fact, there is a problem with the design of the holder which isn't strong enough to survive being jostled in The Memorex CDs do not come with the usual protection provided by a rigid holder. Rather, a brittle plastic tube in the center is sandwiched between the plastic end pieces, thus reducing the costs. Only a thin shrink sheet is used to label the outside This column of packing material provides no support. In my package, the column broke and the whole thing fell apart. I didn't know if it was because Amazon sent it in a mailing carton and without bubble wrap or packing to stop it from Honestly, for such a small item, I am unable to be bothered to return it. We will cross our fingers that the CDs are still usable. The rest of the buying public, however, should be aware of this problem and consider another brand that is packaged better.
I have a daughter who is a singer songwriter in Nashville for a major music All the songs (about 100 a year) she writes get sent to me by Email, and I record them on Memorex Music CDs. The discs are R. The sound quality is better on these discs than on others I have used. In all my years of teaching, I've never failed.
Those disks work very well. I have probably ordered five of these 100 units in the last five months, since I burn a lot of disks. The only one who could be opened properly was the one in the middle. Only removing the top lid of this container appears to be the only way to open it. The knob is hard to turn and requires many turns before you start to see if you will be able to turn it. As I continue to turn this handle a pop sounds and the door is not able to Once I know how I can break into this container and get at the disks, I proceed to do so. In this container I keep the disks from the just broken in container on top of the single center pole I saved from one of these episodes. Memorex is what I've been buying for a long time because they work well. Other brands that I used had problems for me. I found them to be the best buy once I cracked open the container despite the bad Today I just received my most recent order and screwed the lid to the top of the box, so now it's time to open the box. To remove the top of the post, one successful method is to drill a half-inch hole through the post and then use a 1/2-inch drill bit. It's possible there will be drill debris on your hands, but you can handle it. As long as you have the right tools, it is a relatively simple task. The packaging of this product has serious problems, as you can see from my previous review. I had a complete disaster with the previous one. All CDs were destroyed after the container containing them was However, the disks were presentable and could be spooled onto the spool I was using at the time. There was only one vendor for all of those orders. Another vendor is involved this time. In the box there were no dents or damage and it was just the right size for the container. I guess I'm a slow learner, which is why I used the same vendor for so long. I regularly burn disks from this vendor, so future orders will come from it.
It is truly a shame that these discs exist. The following three CD drives are in my possession A Plextor PX-type card FW 755SA (rev. 2007)
* Plextor PX FW 716A (f/w rev. The Toshiba SD-card is 11)
* A revision unknown to the release of R1612 (f/w)
All discs were burned on the PX-400 Item 755. Disc one failed to burn (could have just been bad It happens), so I'm not including it in my evaluation. I used 16x for all burns (sometimes I'll use faster, but I prefer less reburning It will read the discs when they are being Ten of the experiments were successful, and seven of them were readable by the PX-300 This is P755SA). There were 7 readable records, but only ONE of those was readable by anyone but PX Item 755. Here's what you need to consider before you say it's a Plextor problem The Memorex 700MB/80GB drive is also used by me The Minute 48x CD comes with 48 minutes The discs were purchased from Amazon as "R Media (Black)". There have never been any issues with those discs for me. Nonetheless, I am inclined to believe that these discs are having major compatibility issues that have nothing to do with their maker. Although it's entirely possible that I simply got a "bad batch", the rate of failure is entirely It's a waste of money and of time. As someone in the IT industry, I need to be able to burn a disc at a speed that is acceptable (16x) and share that disc with a colleague. Location where an operating system can be installed There is nothing more irritating to me than burning a disc, then driving 20 minutes, only to find the disc itself has failed. This particular Memorex disc must be avoided.
