The 75 minute limit applies to all of our services
3/5

For the past few years, I've been using Maxell CD-Rs For more than 20 years, Rs has been the only brand available. I went from having a 0% failure rate to 75% about a month ago. The discs were all failing even after trying 3 different sellers within the last month. I assumed I had a bad batch of discs, but I tested 3 different sellers. There was only one test out of the first five that did not fail in the latest batch. My experience as a professional recorder is that the first 75 minutes of every disc record fine, but after that the recordings Up to now, I have never had a problem cloning a CD with more than 79 minutes of music on it. That's no longer the case. Maxell is clearly not a name to be trusted anymore. I will say this again. They are gorgeous for the first 75 minutes, but after that they will skip or freeze if playing back music between 75 and 79 minutes.

There was no recording on any of these CDs
3/5

I received a damaged package in which every CD was defective. It was two different drives (one BRAND NEW. In a PC older than two years, there's an old version It works just fine otherwise) with more or less the same result. Error message was the same whatever the file type was. I did not care where the information came from. Many of them had static on the tracks, while others stopped after a couple of songs. I threw them out, so they appear to be okay. I threw away the Windows media player and the Roxio) so they appeared to be fine. I cannot return them since I threw them out. It was impossible for me to imagine the "next one" working. BULLETIN BOARD.

There is deception in the It is a defective disc
3/5

It can be clearly seen that the image of the item depicts the older version before Maximized Data was introduced. It was only because I thought I would be receiving an older version that made me buy them. On my last spindle of 50, 22 out of 25 failed to play in most of my devices even though the metadata said the spindle had max data. The fact that one can now see through them is evident proof that they have changed. Over the years, I have used hundreds of the old version without any issues.

This CD is a scam! Do not purchase it! Using iTunes to burn these discs would not create music CDs
3/5

I encountered a message stating "burn failed due to medium write error" every time I attempted to burn a CD. A slower speed seemed to work for me in burning a CD In some instances, it would pass through a few sets of tracks before stopping. When I tried another brand of CD, the problem was not with my burner, so it was not my Any CD brand I have ever purchased has not had this problem.

How did things turn out for My last batch of chicken was bad about 3 months ago
3/5

After giving Maxell a couple of months to stop using their shoddy discs, I decided to pull the plug. As I knew would happen, I previously ordered 100 discs and each of them performed flawlessly. My order for 400 more was recently placed. When I play my duplicator's discs, at least three of every five start making a static noise despite my machine claiming all discs pass A whistling sound ("whirk, whirk, whirk") is heard from around the middle of the disc all the way to the end. Other brands of CDs work perfectly on my duplicator the problem is not with the duplicator. 3 months ago, I also had the same issue. Waste of time! Seventy-two items out of a hundred have been tossed away.

My old car still runs on cds and I listen to music through it. There is some reason that these disks fail to function, but other disks work fine. I think the thicker disks are causing the error as they seem to be thicker than usual.

Recording industry giant Maxell used to be a dominating force
3/5

I have a lot of respect for Maxell, and it is difficult for me to let him go. In fact, I have defended Maxell CDs to my wife and pointed out that her computer and burner must be broken, since Maxells are of high quality and wouldn't cause any problems. It did not work with my car CD player when I burned music to the first four discs in a 50 pack. Whenever I tried to open the file I received an ERROR message. There was a disc that began to play but then stopped, and the screen displayed an ERROR message. In an attempt to test my burning software I have attempted to burn to one of the discs again. After burning a disc, my wife's burner recognized it as a "blank" disc and attempted to burn it But a CD player would not play it. The situation is both frustrating and puzzling at the same time. Maxell used to be a dominant company in the recording industry, and their products were never in question. In terms of recording tape quality, they were at the top of the list There are several types of tapes including reel-to-reel and cassettes. My guess is that CDs work differently. Despite their superior analog quality, Maxell couldn't convert their amazing digital technology into their excellent standards. This is such a shame and such a Amazon is being refunded for two 50 pack CDs. To submit the review, I had to give it one star. This is beautiful.

CDs couldn't be burned on 2/3 of them
3/5

The Maxell blank CDs I use have been around for a long time. It turned out that the latest purchase was substandard in The discs were unplayable in almost 2/3 of the cases. My first fix was to get a new burner, thinking that hardware was the issue. I then thought maybe there was something wrong with the software. We were able to produce all the CDs we needed with a competitors product. Using Maxell CDs won't be a repeat purchase for me.
