Even on 2X, around half of the tests fail. purchased a couple spindles from this seller / brand over the last two years and they have been good. There are a few roller coasters here and there, but that's nothing to worry about. It is a total waste of money to purchase this latest spindle. A little more than half of these discs have coasted off. I agree with you half. The burners keep failing randomly even when I've tried burning at all speeds on a beefy PC.
It has been a long time since I have burned blu-ray It has been almost a decade since I have been exposed to x-rays professionally, and I have never Previously, I've had one spindle with half of the discs damaged, but at this point, I have errors on EVERY disc, especially when layer changes occur. All the rest of the discs are now going to the trash. Money is a total waste. My experience with Verbatim 4x speed has been good, but these 6x ones are a total waste of time and money.
For years I have used Verbatim discs without any problems, but this last batch seems to be a total waste of time. There are errors on every disc that is burned. If Verbatim has moved where they are manufactured or if their quality control department is just doing a bad job, then I don't know what's going on. It would be better for me to hold off on buying another spindle of.
The quality of the discs has been proven to be excellent. It has been a couple of years since I have purchased this brand and I have rarely encountered problems. It is however a bit pricey in my opinion. It is the only reputable brand in the market.
With more than 20 years of experience using Verbatim products, I have never encountered a single dissatisfaction. It is what they SAY is going to happen that they actually DO. I like the way the printing surfaces look (depending on my printer). Because it has such a large storage capacity (50GB) on just one side and is on the leading edge of burning speeds, it is a very viable contender for my work/play needs.
Out of two spindles (100 discs), there were no bad ones. You can see why people have such high regards for these. The copies are perfect and the surface is superb. Even if the white is slightly off-white, it is still a great product.
It is the perfect purchase for this type of product.
The product has a good price point and is a great storage option. This brand and model is a favorite of mine and I intend to buy more of it in the future.
