Is it possible to buy a replacement belt for these if they wear out or break?

There is no way I can tell. You can probably get another rewinder at a lower cost. It has been quite awhile since I have had a problem with mine.

How does it work? Is it connected to the wall by a cord or is it powered by ?

It is not attached to the cord

Rewinding speed how fast does it go?

The device worked briefly, before leaving me. I had to return it after a few uses. It is a good idea to use GE brand, which works well and rewinds very quickly.

Originally bought in March, it operated for approximately three tapes (I switched to make sure it wasn't the tape after the next one wouldn't rewind) but seemed a little slower to rewind after the first time I tried As a result, I put it in a box for return but I failed to send it back 30 days after I received it. It looks like I will have to buy another one, but I think I will just open Radio Shack next time. I bought one at Radio Shack 2 or more years ago, and it still works fine.

It is noteworthy that the last VHS rewinders were manufactured quite some time ago, furthermore the Radioshack Vhs rewinder came nicely packaged, with the power cord bubble wrapped and protected along with the actual VHS rewinder in its original retail This video tape ejector works as intended and is expected to eject the tape once

The Rewinder on one of my VHS rewinders stopped working after I rewound two VHS tapes

The Rewinders are great! I bought two of them. When an automatic Rewinder stopped working after rewinding two VHS tapes, and when another automatic Rewinder stopped working after winding twenty VHS tapes, I was disappointed. When I opened the first Rewinder, I found refurbished parts inside. There was glue on the parts and some wiring was twisted together as if someone had tried to connect them. It was too late for me to return these items. BUY THESE REWINDERS AT YOUR OWN RISK!.

I was unable to make it I had to return it since the tape could not be rewound

If it spun, it wouldn't stop. It's true that VHS is no longer in use, but I wanted to rewind my tapes as I begin to transfer them to DVD.

In order to replace this unit, I need to find out what is wrong with it

would like to have this unit replaced since it does not behave as it should when the rewind is completed. It sometimes shuts off and opens the lid even when the rewind is complete. I would like to have this unit replaced because it does not function Let me know how I can return this unit and I'll send you a replacement and a return label.

You can save a lot of Though the rewinder stopped working after about 15 times, I do not believe it was the default of the seller since I bought a similar device from a different seller the same problem occurred

Radio Shack went out of business for a good reason. I'm not sure if the sellers know they are buying defective stock but I understand why.
