Using this too often can be harmful. As far as I can tell, this is ok and may depend on the type of VCR.

There is no point in buying it! The device did not come with an instruction manual or picture of how it was to be used

There was an advertisement stating that you could rewind the video while watching it on the VCR. Seeing as it has only a wall plug and no other cords or openings to plug anything else in, there is no way to do that. There is nothing really special about this product, and it's ridiculously cheaply made!.

Despite being told to do so, it won't do it. As soon as I inserted the tape, all that the machine did was make noise, making a tremendous amount.

I have written to the seller about this. There was no response from the company. "Soft eject" is stated in the description. That's not the case. My last automatic VHS rewinder does not work smoothly, and I have owned many of them over the years.

This product was essential to us, since we still watch a lot of VHS tapes. Mason comes highly recommended, and we have bought two winders from them. With the exception of the first one breaking too soon, we are pleased with both of them.
