In the kit you will find 8 gauge. The smaller than that is not an option for me. In addition to 6 gauge, 8 gauge also works. This amp will not benefit from 4 gauge wire, in my opinion. I seriously doubt that. To make the subwoofer enclosure fit properly, you need at least a foot of clearance. The possibility of laying it down exists.
Unfortunately, this is part of a bass speaker system in a car. Having no aux connection is a major drawback. You can enhance the bass of your vehicle with it. Boom! If that answers your question then your only option is to use a regular speaker
