Questions & Answers
We are glad your interest in Seismic Audio metal recessed handles was piqued. You would probably have to choose hardware based on how you mount them. A screw with a length that is slightly less than the depth of the wood is ideal for a self-tapping screw. However, if the wood used is good quality, screwing in the screws without predrilling may be considered "better craftsmanship" especially if you level each hole, but it is not going to differ significantly from screwing in. You might want to use a set of t-nuts if you are mounting to some kind of plastic or soft material It would be necessary to use nuts. I hope your day is going well!
The overall depth of the cabinet, from the front of the face plate to the back side of the recessed handle area, is 2 1/4". Rusty, thanks for your help
Dear Sir or Madam, thanks for your interest in It is my apologies that I am not familiar with the kind of handle the Marshall 1960a uses, but I can give you measurements of mine. A total of 8 5/8" x 6 3/8" are the exterior measurements. 4 5/8" x 6 3/4" is the cutout size for it. It would work just as well at a slightly larger scale. Have a good
I am pleased to hear that you are interested in Seismic Audio. An HDTV with a 200 lb subwoofer will be able to handle these. Normally, two man lifts are used for a sub that big in order to make it easy to transport. I hope your day is going well!

Two of these were mounted on my 220 lb subwoofer enclosure (one on each side). There is no doubt about that! 220 pounds! 275 lbs total weight (dual 15" Skar VXFs at 60 lbs each in a 100 lb A cut-off date has been set I had to make 6 out of each of these to fit as I show them in the photos. The dimensions of this print are 75" by 4". The number five. The only issue I have is that my 6'3" wing span isn't long enough to grab both handles, so this enclosure must be lifted by two people. A total of 10 screws are needed for each. I did the same thing. Start by making yourself a cardboard template.
hooked them up to a Fender Bassman 4x10 amp and they sound like they are originals. It does not come with screws, though, so keep that in mind. You will also notice a noticeable difference in the sound if you cut holes into a cabinet to recess the handles. To dampen the noise inside the cabinet, I fitted a box around the handle area with wood that I cut to size and screwed and glued into the inside of the cabinet. I also installed insulation to insulate the cabinet from the outside air. The amplifier has once again proved to be a great sounding amplifier, and the handles make it easy to transport. If you own a collector's item speaker cabinet, however, I will recommend not cutting a hole in the side where the handle would be.
Handles that are nice.
It is easy to install.
The handles themselves are fine, but the corners of each handle are bent. A bubble envelope was all that was needed to package them. As opposed to going through the hassle of returning them, I was able to bend them back on a bench vise.
In fact, I'm a cabinet maker, so I ordered a lot of handles. Handles available on Amazon are of a far higher quality than anything I have ever purchased.
The product itself is good, but its packaging is amateurish, too, and it came in a box that literally fell apart when it was delivered, so both handles were scratched.
TC series speakers are old and I have a set of them. The opening necessary to set the handles had to be modified, but I was still able to use the This is a much more comforting pair of shoes than the originals and they seem more durable as well. The handles are a fantastic replacement for the ones on the JBL speakers.
