After having used this product as well as Velcro many times over the years, I can tell you that it WILL attach to it somewhat, but it won't support a lot of weight or tension, since the trunk liners don't have much of a bushy pile.
There is no doubt that you need hallway carpeting. Usually found in automotive applications, this is designed for speaker enclosures. There is no way to tolerate foot traffic on it.
In fact, yes. You would have to fold up a huge amount of material to do so. Without a roll I was really unable to use it.
There are not many.
Selected User Reviews For Absolute C48BL 48-Inch x 50 Yard Carpet for Speaker Sub Box, RV Truck Car/Trunk Laner Liner Roll (Blue)
Due to the low number of reviews, I was very wary about purchasing this product. There are relatively thin carpets used for automotive and speaker boxes, but these are very strong. Despite what you might think by looking at the picture, there is no gray or white speckle to it at all. This is a jet black color and only that color. In spite of that, it does not constitute a violation of human rights The fabric I used for the isolation booth I am building is hard-backed, somewhat stretchable, and worked perfectly to cover the drums. In response to some negative feedback about the 3M lineup of spray adhesives, I am using DAP Weldwood contact cement to adhere this to the drum booth surfaces. I wanted to make sure I had ample cement on the carpet piece prior to attaching it to the cemented panel of the booth, so I applied an entire quart. I no longer applied contact cement to the booth with a brush, but instead used a chip brush to do so. I was looking for that. Make sure the contact cement is brushed on the booth and that you rub your hand over the carpet As a result, no cement leaches through the carpet, and the finished product looks great. As a result of my happiness with this carpet, I have been telling everyone how good a value it is to buy a 4' by 150' roll for nearly double the price of a 25' piece. The product has held up very well during installation and has been fantastic to use. I was able to mold it around the most intricate pieces of the booth, but it wasn't so thin that it was transparent or easily torn. This is well-suited to what I am doing with it. Having said this, I would be hesitant to use this in an area where it is going to be touched or rubbed often since the nap tends to fray (get fuzzy) when rubbed.
As you can see from the picture, it appears that the blue is dark. When displayed in the light, the client was put off by its color. like it a lot! Only one thing needs to be done show it off!.
carpet on the grey speaker box is a charcoal grey, similar to the boxes on which prefab speakers are installed. As a speaker box, it is perfect since it has no back.
I lined the inside of a small closet I made for storing I found this to be very easy to work with and it was held in place well with a thin layer of Weldwood contact cement. The product looks and feels absolutely wonderful. The price is really good for the amount of data that.
It was relatively thin, allowing for it to be stretched and shaped to the curves we needed it to conform.
Our products are custom made for every customer Some of our cases are lined with carpet after we measure them and cover them with it. I found the material to be excellent, works perfectly, has good durability, and is easy to manage.
It was easy to install, as advertised, and I would buy it.
As far as my needs are concerned, this carpet is perfect. definitely buy from them.
