I'd assume that if you lived in Minnesota, it would last for quite a while, whereas if you lived in Arizona, I'd guess not as long since the sun is much hotter there. The best I can tell you is I used it for a PA system for speakers as well as for my PA housing for amps and my mixing board, but I can't tell you anything more.
In an SUV, it was used as cover for a sub box.
I'm not sure. In the event that you have trouble, I'm pretty sure something like ShoeGoo or E6000 would help you. As for the spray adhesive, I have used both 3M and LocTite brands with great results.
After it has been applied and dried, I don't recall this being listed in the details, but you can spray the ScotchGuard on top of it.

I wouldn't use this material to wrap enclosures, since it is almost as thin as the stuff you can buy at Walmart. It is possible to find a better carpet From another roll I bought on eBay, the material was less than 1/8" thick. This roll is around 2mm thick, and the other roll was 1/2 inch thick! It will be used for other projects as well. The quality of what you receive is what you pay for! Basically, if you want a cheap "test" enclosure, no problem, but if you want an enclosure of quality, it probably took hours to plan, design, measure, cut, sand, round over, and whatever else it needed to be. Put a better cover on it!.
This is what I used to detail my trunk. That was a great price since I ordered the trunk carpet for half the cost. In addition, there should be plenty of it left over because I think I was given 20x4 feet of it. A locktite spray adhesive was used to wrap my trank boards on a 1971 Buick Riviera. We ended up with a better result than when the car was brand This is a great product. It is actually thicker than the trunk carpet I received for twice the price. If I knew how great it is, I would have used it for the trunk carpet as well.
Despite its thinness, it is They are easy to work with, cut, etc. I used staples and rubber cement to affix them. You need to be careful with the cement, as some may seep through this thin carpet if it is over-saturated. In addition to black and gray, I also purchased red. A comparison is shown in the following image. My first impression of the gray was that it was darker than I expected. Black is the color I painted the inside of one cabinet, and it's so dark you can't even see the corners. A pitch black night If you want to color any staples, please use a black Sharpie. Besides the fact that you can patch pieces together easily, and the seams are basically undetectable, another plus of this carpet is its ease of maintenance. In the future, I'll buy this brand if I need more.
On my Jeep (98 TJ) for the deck, on my buddy's 10 JK deck, and on my Toyota Matrix to make a DIY carpet kit for when the seats fold down, I've used this carpet. I really like this stuff! It was nicer on the first roll than the second I got because the thickness was thicker, but I have not noticed any difference in the quality in my heavy use of it This carpet is really nice, and it is easy to work with. In the end, I chose this carpet because the size it came in worked for what I needed, and it happened to be one of the larger/wider rolls of carpet for such an affordable.
It consists of virtually no nap at all. As opposed to a carpet, this appears to be a heavy felt. My Mazda3's carpet looks almost exactly the same as that of this carpet. I didn't need something that had a lot of nap, however, since I was buying it for a 2001 Honda. As far as auto or marine carpets go, or subwoofer boxes, this is not what I am used to seeing. However, the description is extremely inaccurate despite the fact that it can still be useful for other projects. Make sure you read the fine print. There is nothing wrong with the quality of the work, it's just that it's not perfect A label appears.
As part of a project, I purchased this product to line some pieces of wood I had. Beforehand, I did some research and read the online reviews. One review stated that it was more like felt. I was disappointed, but then I used my logical mind and came to the conclusion that if I was lining a speaker box with it, it would be perfect and very durable. As such, it would still be better if the fabric was thicker and fuzzier, since I am using it for a different purpose. This product has not been rated because it is not a great deal, but if you are looking for something more substantial then I would buy something else. If it were thicker then it would have been a 5 star Buying according to your needs.
Using it to carpet an audio box is what I did. I really liked how this worked. This carpet was used for a project I did as part of the audio box. There was a car stereo lying around in my garage that would not fit in my new car, so I chose a basement stereo for a project. It seems to be of decent quality and there is way more than I need.
Considering the price, I think it's very reasonable. This is very thin carpet, and when it is held up to the light you can see through it. When you spray down the spray glue and place the carpet on top of the glue, you can feel the glue seeping through the carpet. In my experience, you can't really see through it or stretch it to exactly the way you want it. When you lay it on a surface, you can't see through it and the glue doesn't really form itself exactly the way you want. Fitting the shirt was a challenge since I had to make many cuts.
