I did not get the results I was expecting from this product. In the course of scanning channels, it picked up channels with no video, with really long channel The ZeeVee customer service was able to manually search for local channels in the 70 to 79MHz frequency range for me after I called customer service. This box found my local channels, but it will not store them in the channels that I know about. My local station has always been channel 4 -- for instance, my local station On the TV, there is only one channel. According to this tuner, it will only store it based on its frequency, so channel 4 will be 70-80 Hz. Luckily, I only had to manually scan frequencies 70 to 79, then I had to adjust the names of the channels so that this tuner box would work It was a good tuner box in the end. I had to struggle for a long time to reach there had been something better that I could have found. There do not seem to be any problems tuning into the channels on TV sets with tuners. In the past, it has not been easy to locate a TV tuner that works the same as a TV box.
I was very pleased with the results.
A little different from what I had The number is close to zero. Not at all. A little different from what I had A very small amount of documentation exists. My purchase was based on a phone call to the company. It was my fault because the company didn't even express confidence in their product. Change your mind and buy It doesn't matter!.
Just make sure the signal is no more than +5 dB! first, I was unable to get the box to tune in channels, but after talking to tech support, I discovered that the tuner will not function if the signal is too hot (over +5dB). Several db pads were inserted on the coax and now the box has all the channels it should have. This handy box will help to solve the problem if your TV does not have a tuner, or if your television has.
Demodulator of great quality.
Product did not work and I had to return it to the manufacturer. Despite its absence from advertising, the manufacturer did inform me when I called that it might not work in some.
As part of how I generate a QAM-modulated digital TV channel, I'm monitoring the reception of the channel. There was a review for this tuner that said you should reduce the level of the input signal or else it won't see channels. In my case, I duplexed three coax splitters (looking at the outputs only, I think it's a significant dB loss) in series, and it worked perfectly. For this price, I can't complain too much. A trim pot on the back could allow people to add attenuation, but for this price I can't complain at all.
Could you explain how this would work with an old television I have.
