My experience as a sound recordist means that I do understand how sound gear works. My objective was not to use it professionally but to improve the ability to listen to audio recordings that I need to listen to as part of online courses. The audio quality of some of these recordings was terrible since they were recorded thirty years ago. I bought this little inline EQ to try to make these old teaching sessions easier to listen to. I find they are a little difficult to understand in a few instances. As such, the Koss EQ50 works great for that. It is a three band EQ, so it is limited in how much boost you can obtain and where it will apply Those three faders are called Bass, Mid, and Treble. In theory, that should tell you what they are doing. You plug the input of your device into the input port and the output port into the buds or headphones. This is a pretty straightforward process. In addition, it is relatively inexpensive and works quite well. Those are all the details for now. The way these devices work is that they not only have a master volume control, but three individual volume controls as well. Those are what the faders do, boost or cut volume at certain The volume of this little unit is controlled by a total of four Noises that have been complained about are real, and much of it is caused by the post master fader in what might be referred to as In general, the amount of power a device uses is correlated with its signal strength An accurate measure of noise ratio is important. An effective way of explaining this is to say that the more power a device can get, the quieter it will be. Noise is likely to be generated when a device is designed to consume the least amount of power. The actual circuitry of the EQ chip is a little more complicated, but suffice it to say, this tiny EQ may get noisy due to the limited power it consumes. There is only one thing you can do, and that is to pump as much volume into the device as possible before you overload it with sound. You can reduce the noise produced by faders that way. However, since the majority of the noise in post is post master volume, there isn't really anything you can do about it. I recommend that you do the following If you need a booster for something like listening to transcriptions, or old muddy sounding radio programs, or old teaching tapes, this unit should be able to help For those of you who want to crank up the volume on your Walkman or iPod but still want to hear music the way it is supposed to sound, you should probably consider.
Throughout my career as a court stenographer, I've worked in a variety of environments, including offices, courtrooms, and conference rooms, and have transcribed many It's a very useful tool when someone speaks quietly, an air conditioner is blowing in the background, or the acoustics in the room aren't ideal, because you can adjust the equalizer band to achieve a better sound when transcription. This tool has been exceptionally useful for those times when you cannot understand what has been said perfectly, and instead of playing the tape over and over in hopes of understanding what was said, you may simply slide the bass, mid or treble to make the sound clearer. While I think this is an excellent little product, I only gave it four stars instead of five on the basis that it does not perform miracles, nor should you expect that at this price. Still, I can certainly see how it would be beneficial to anyone.

THE "HISS" ISSUE. Since I've had an "audiophile" ear for the last 35 years, I'm pretty sure I still have that. * Yes - Stereo gear in general emits some hiss to some extent, however the 1-box emits only a very small amount A further 2 dB of added hiss is introduced by There is no significance in number 3. No - Despite the lack of a belt clip and the fact that it is slightly larger than most MP3 players, this unit is slimmer than many handheld stereo gears. THE CONTROLS ARE AS FOLLOWS The volume knob can turn smoothly, the tone slider does not wobble and the on/off switch works smoothly. I really like the Koss EQ3 Equalizer because it gives you full control of the three different levels Early to mid-1980s This is high). The slider controls on this interface allow you to trim or boost your audio signal in a wide range of ways! You can trust Koss when they tell you 10dB of boost / cut on each band! It's better than that - You can now choose an EQ curve in the Spotify player rather than the one built into the player! A new feature has been added In order to get my 3-in-1 I gotta get the Koss 3 In addition to its "volume" knob, Band EQ3 also has a TRIM or GAIN control which allows you to change the volume (and thus the definition of the music) of an MP3/CD/Cassette player when used before it. This is very much like the volume control on your guitar amp. (That's what "axe hackers" know! )Get it FACTORY FRESH from Amazon - All of our products for the lowest prices!.
Several headphones to choose from I am particularly interested in the inside The ear is the type of ear that Increase your EQ to get the most out of it. The bass boost of portable music players is often welcome, however some situations require a different response It's like being in an airplane cabin- The middle of the chart should be given more volume The range is. You can achieve this with the Koss portable EQ's. (I've recently lost the predecessor to the EQ50, so I was happy to find the replacement on Amazon. ) The company. It had been a while since I saw a portable EQ in a store, so I assumed they were There are no problems with the new EQ50. Having an on/off switch in an easy to reach area has made it much easier to use (the predecessor was easy to switch on by accident and drain This one would be even better if it also had the balance slider like its predecessor. You will enjoy this portable EQ if that is what you are looking for. Furthermore, it may be the only option available in the market.
